Thanks for sharing. Quick question. Why do you spin your paddle after you go from a forehand shot to a backhand shot or vice versa? Is it just a habit or are you purposefully readjusting your hand setting. Just curious.
Hello John, after seeing your video I have purchased the SpinShot. I took screen shots of your settings, thank you for posting them. Do you have an easier link to see all your settings? The settings with the position of the SpinShot pics are perfect. I believe you have some additional drill sequences, I’d like to see them if possible. Also when you were showing your volley drills you said eventually you increased the feed rate. Are you using app to increase feed or is that on one of your 12 preprogram able slots? Thanks Sir
Hey John I had a quick question.. Would you recommend drilling the 2H back-hand at the baseline to someone who doesn't have an elongated paddle and has been using the 1H back-hand up until now (4.5 level) ? I have heard mixed opinions which is why I haven't bought a new paddle to drill those 2H back-hand shots yet. Thank you in advance!
Hey John. I watched some of your games on your channel and I love your backhand slice return of serve. I played a friend who did the same thing and it was extremely difficult to do a third shot drop with. Can you do a video on how to do that shot? Many thanks!
Your video was my deciding factor to buy a Spinshot. Tim has been great with customer service and your videos have saved me hours trying to figure out settings for custom drills. Spinshot seems to be leading the pack with technology…. Hopefully one day soon they will provide a website with all this information in one place.
His video on the TITAN ball machine convinced me to buy the TITAN. I wish that I knew what some of these pros real favorite is without being influenced by their endorsements.

I see that you are often purposely keeping your non dominant arm close to your core (touching your left hip). Is there a technical reason you do that? Love your videos. I am going to get the ball machine based on your video.
Thanks, I’m glad to hear you’re enjoying the videos. I’m not really conscious of that but I think I do it just to be aware of keeping good balance and posture and not allowing that hand to flail around.
Is that the correct setting for the cross court dink. i set my machine to that setting and the balls are flying long and high. I don't think the HGHT of 35 is correct. am I missing something?
John, you just persuaded me via FB Messenger today- I am going to order the Spinshot. I hope to defray the cost by renting it out, or using it for lessons.
@@johncincolapickleball I've already told half a dozen people about the Spinshot, and I haven't even received mine yet. Having watched a few of your videos with the included Spinshot drills, I am convinced it's going to make me stronger in two ways. First, I'll be a stronger pickleball player, and second, lifting it in and out of my car will literally make me stronger as well. 😀
Hey John I only have a half court setup in my back driveway. I’d like to get the most out of the spinshot but at home can really only do dinking and volleying at the NVZ. Best drills???

Hi John, thank you for sharing your pickleball wisdom. In regards to volleys, I often use my backhand when I should use my forehand. I'm having a hard time shaking off this bad habit. Any tips would be greatly appreciated 🙏
Great video as usual John. Thank you for sharing. My doubles partner and I are working on dinking and defense (quick hands) during the entire month of Dec. We have been drilling for 8-10 hrs per week and will continue this routine. Which dinking drills do you recommend for us (3.75ish players) in our quest to become very good at the NVZ? I also bought the Spinshot. It will be delivered Friday the 25th of November. It is my understanding we can get a copy of the drills, then upload it to the Spinshot? Any chance you can provide a link to your drills?
I just copied the numbers from the screen of this video. Then I entered them into the App. But I found my machine is still to fast at the 1 speed setting for dinking with the machine at the NVZ. I’d like to know how to update the software for a slower 1 speed setting.
@@Kassarji I called Tim with Spinspot. There is a knew firmware update to override some issues. I'm now able to dink with this machine. Spinsport will send you a link. The weather in Dallas Fort Worth has not allowed me to use the machine. I know they still have some issues.
That’s exactly correct, make sure you are updated to the latest software. I’m actually working on a new software version with them right now that will dial things in a even a little more. That should be out soon. Once that outs I can share the screenshots of the drills I have customized. Thanks.

Amazing video. Just found your channel and I have already implemented some of your advice and started to get better. I also got my spinshot yesterday and charged it up for some early practice tomorrow morning. I'm going to try the drills pre-programmed and keep what works and then add yours in to supplement and make my game better. Thank you for being a coach and helping the community through youtube!
