What are your thoughts of bio’s written in first person vs third person? It seems most bio’s are written in third person, however it would seem first person bio’s would seem more engaging for listeners and fans.
maybe it depends of what is your purpose or direction of your brand, if you want to be perceived more as a brand/organization, third person could be better, but if you want to be perceived as a humble and friendly artist, first person should be better. or that is what I think ;D
went from 430 to 1040 in monthly listeners in 3 weeks by putting out a single and marketing, going to put out a single every month , every 4 weeks, I know you say 6-8 weeks but lets how the 4 week works out, fingers crossed def will switch it up if I dont see good growth, researching your music, more research then after do marketing and thats always the way to go, ur advice has confirmed everything i have been doing, but no one else makes content like you do with the step by step approach, thank you!

ive been binge watching all your videos, and im trying to lean in on this micro-genre advice. I see you mention it in every video so its clearly important. Im just having an issue establishing what my micro genre is, any tips are how to figure it out?
This goes back to what’s helpful more than that is realistic comparisons of artists who get a listener curios. Inspirations if you can barely hear it mislead listeners and don’t help you.

Hey Jesse after your advice I kept rewriting my bio with advice from fellow artists from my area. After about 6 rewrites I think I've got a good one could you tell me what you think? Greenmane from Michigans 248 has been tearing up the scene with alternative rap, and trap vibes! Spitting fast hard bars about his life, thoughts and experiences, packed with pop culture references. Almost as if some aliens took ski mask the slump god, lil dicky and combined their minds to create a new sound not quite like Anything heard before! You never know exactly how a new Greenmane song is gonna have you feeling, but there's always high energy and mood altering lyrics mixed with some of the hardest beats around.
