SimRacing 604 also credits Papryk and his video • Fixing the Automobilis... that goes into much more detail about additional changes you can make to improve the way the cars feel in FFB.
In this video I give my initial impressions of the FullFFB profile by JP, the Silver Raw rFuktor profile and the profile by Danielkart. Over the coming weeks and months I'll probably revist the FullFFB and rFuktor profiles - as my initial impressions were compromised by not adjusting the in-game settings, so as not to bias the test results.
Disclaimer:- all profiles were a marked improvement over the default FFB. FFB is a personal preference and dependent on all of the various variables invovled, wheel, wheel base, profile settings etc.
I'm still searching for the holy-grail feel that I get from rFactor 2, so I will possbily look into editing the profiles to, trial and error, see if I can get a more personalised feel - one that gets as close as possible to rF2 or, if possible, IRL.

Look at the code lines for Front end feel and Static force reduction. That’s the two areas that will help you feel more loading up thru corners without the constant forces.

It may be worth your time to read the recommended settings with the custom FFB files . It does make a big difference to them 😶

Yeah, when using custom FFB files the sliders change from the default settings on some.

Yeah, 💯 - that’s the plan for round two. Initially I just wanted to compare out of the box. Over the next few weeks I intend to dedicate much more time to dialling in each profile, perhaps getting to the point of tweaking the FullFFB file.

You’ll have to let me know what you think of them once you’ve tried them. I know I’ll have to go back and test them all again though, this time tweaking my game settings or Fanalab profile to use any suggested settings.

Brother you've got the Nordsleife down pat. I've only ever driven it in past Forza games (with a drive line) and have stayed away from it in iRacing and AMS2 (where I don't use a drive line). Just gotta buckle down and start putting in the work (laps) in the sims.

Thank you 😎. Truth be told, I'm still quite slow around Nords. I hear you though, I avoided the place for years then - like you, one day just decided to do the work. Getting up to speed in iR might be 'easier' because the resets mean you don't have to start a new lap if you crash. However, AMS2 might prove more productive as you're possibly less likely to crash in the first place. Here's hoping you crack it soon 👍

Ι donwloaded and installed the Danielkart profile but in the telemetry section (in game) shows the name rfuktor. i am confused

Hmmm, that’s interesting. I’ll have to check mine too. I’ll also check through the forum to see if Danielkart edited the rFuktor profile 🤔

@@MAWvR3ALITY I downloaded the v500 version! Which one did you install on your game? Also if you open the ffb profile with a text editor it's written that is the rfuktor 5.0.1 but edited from Daniel, so I think we are good

How you capture the VR content?

In this video, I used Nvidia GeForce Experience Shadowplay to capture the game window. In other videos I either use Shadowplay to capture the VR mirror window, or the Steam VR mirror window, or capture either window using StreamlabsOBS.

@@MAWvR3ALITY I was wondering, because the video is 4K. Are you set ams2 to 4K ? I s the connected monitor /tv 4K? I just have 1080p monitor and struggle to get 4K from vr capture

@@miSta1982 ah, ok I understand. My screen is a 4K TV. My game graphics are set to 4K too. I’ve then set the Shadowplay Recording settings to capture at 8K. So when I process the video in Adobe Premier Pro it uses a 4K canvass.

@@MAWvR3ALITY thank you very much. Is your 100% resolution of your 8kx not the same like the pimax crystal 5kx4k? How did you get 1.25 render resolution? I have 4090 too and a 7800x3d. And be on 0.85 render resolution with msaa set to 4x
