I am a day 1 Div1 & Div2 player, and I'm a smoker. Which means I've watched a lot of Division videos...and I mean a lot. This is truly one of the best videos, and definately the best 'guide' video, that i have seen. Looking forward to the rest of the series. Thanks, Ikia.
Some of the concepts you've described have been echo'ed in other games but the vocabulary is a bit different. For example, I've commonly seen types of cover referred to as vertical/horizontal rather than short/tall. Based on how you describe "triage" it sounds like you're describing target or threat prioritization. The way you're describing "aim" is a bit nebulous since a good portion of the discussion was on spray/recoil patterns. Based on how you've labelled the others, you seem to be describing "Weapon Knowledge" more than "aim" itself. I like the list. Personally, any sort of concepts that can be transferred to multiple games are concepts worthy of players to invest their time in learning. Can't wait for Part 2.
there are indeed many a way these things are called, and will mostly depend on what it ended up being called in your bubble. thats why this part was mostly to setup what i will mean in later parts, basically a lexicon, just so we are all on the same page for later parts. but also generally triage is more than just target prio, as it includes also things like shooting world object or even weakpoints on dead enemies to cc and such, and also on how to engage things like with skills alongside of weapons. and the reason i chose the term aim, is because that is what you improve, but for that you do need to understand the weapon mechanics. it will make more sense in the self analysis part where we actually focus on improving aim.
It's to many player who cant play in a team like in a mission, one player can just rush in to the next face/room so my suprice tactic is impossible cuz he have already destroyed the suprice tactic cuz now know the NPC we are there
