I'm having a lot of difficulty getting Dubler to follow my voice. I have a very deep voice and tried switching from SM57 to a more bass friendly mic and I think, maybe, it got a little better, but overall not having good enough results to make even simple melodies.
Hello! One reason that may be happening is if your DAW buffer size is set too high - we recommend a buffer size of 128. You can also set your octave setting higher in the Play tab, so that your MIDI notes are pitched higher than the notes you're singing. If you're still having issues despite these fixes be sure to reach out to our support team at help@vochlea.co.uk and they'll get right back to you right away!
I really don't want to return this software but I'm not happy with my results. The midi is coming in latent in midi capture even though i have set the buffer size to 128. I haven't been able to tweak it to properly capture my notes without going crazy. I have been playing with the stickiness to no avail. Please help. I've watched the videos on how to enunciate the notes.
Hi! We're sorry to hear you're having issues with Dubler 2 - which microphone were you using with the software? If you're not using the Dubler USB mic we recommend dynamic microphones for the best results. Condenser microphones can be too sensitive and lower accuracy. If you're not using a condenser be sure to get in touch with our support team at help@vochlea.co.uk and they can help look into the issue further!
