Haven't yet finished (and will be relistening/rewatching when I do to catch parts I've missed) but wanted to say thank you for such a wonderfully illuminating, thought-provoking talk. 🙏 I enjoy your energy!
I’m 17 and I’m so grateful I practice mindfulness and I love these talks! I wish all the young people my age could also practice mindfulness. It would help my generation so much. Thank you❤️
DEAR FRIEND! You could invite your friends and offer it to them - I experienced meditation with children of 3 years - for mostly about 3 minutes! A ascinating experience! Much love, Thilda
I Love Phap dungs humor and way of storytelling so much, easier to learn, and can’t wait to learn more. I used to find these talks extremely boring- my parents used to try to introduce me to these lessons, I would shut it down..like “no no no ok ok ok I know I know “ I was major avoiding them, fear of getting sucked into boredom and listen to things I did not get which made me feel..not smart. Funny how when they stopped, I found my way to voluntarily listen to these... and I understand everything, it is very interesting. My parents tried to help me all this time.. but I brushed them off... their way wasn’t how I learn, but this way I can.. Either I got older, or modern monks are making it easier, could be both haha 😆
I've never felt right saying 'I'm Buddhist' because I still make lots of mistakes and am learning. So saying 'I follow the Buddhist path' is so much more fitting! Thank you!
Dear friend, this is why a lot of us say, "I practice Buddhism." To paraphrase someone, our path is our practise, & our practice is our path. Peace for you & for all.
Thank you very much 🙏🌞 I learn about suffer and trauma, it help me in a new way. My blood pressure is going down because of the energy and the very calm and gently voice of Br. Phap Dung, it is amazing. The humor bring me happiness. It is so nice that plum Village is here for people who like to look deeper.
All these teachings have such incredible impact. They will be reaching and touching peoples hearts all over the world now more than ever. Trust the dharma will bloom in its time.
Br Phap Dung, your are my favored Monk when it comes to being real and bring feeling to a talk. You have changed my View. I enjoy the down to Earth style and humor! A breath of fresh air.
Please don't reduce your humour Br Phap Dung--it makes the "medicine" go down so delightfully. I feel as if I'm sitting across you having a conversation.
excellent description - to look at the mind as a sense organ, the visual of sense, sense object and sense consciousness, such a graphic interpretation of mind consciousness. Bravo Br. Phap Dung, and much gratitude.
La cuisine Vietnamienne est tellement délicieuse, que souvent, hélas, mes yeux sont plus gros que mon petit ventre. J'apprends, mais uniquement pacque je viens souvent. J'ai besoin du Sangha. Merci💜
Lovely! Related to the complete 1.40 minute share, by listening, i am aware more so now of the other subtle appearances that may affect the Path so i have a new view & Thank You. What i find interesting is The Sameness that exists in Meditation Teachings or faiths that people follow, i like to listen to all spokes in the wheel because i see the Greater Come-Unity that exists. Br Phap Dung, again lots of laughs & smiles & when you mentioned the clock chiming or a bell tinging, i laughed because this happened in my Meditation too,. During the week, every 15 minutes whereby all outward movement stops & one meditates for two minutes, interesting when your cooking in the kitchen hahaha but on weekend retreats the bell chimes on "O clock". I love the Sameness! One day i will go for a day visit to Nhap Luu Monastery. Thank You For You Br Phap Dung.

Stephanie Wilson if you go on the COI website (Community of interbeing / plum Village) it gives you a list of all retreats they do. I go to one from the website a year, i just also booked one via the mindful email/newsletter I receive from them. So that's really good to sign up for :-)
