because they're made for English country weddings. Think big gardens, manor houses and d castles. The dresses match that. Most of the other versions are filmed in cities so the dresses are more for city venues- but with their own slightly different spin to suit the particular area of the globe- like New York is different from Atlanta. I personally love the dresses on the Irish one best. They're very timeless.
In all the SYTTD programmes from around the world Gok is the one I'd want helping me chose my wedding dress - he is just so fab, never goes over budget and really wants to make the brides feel beautiful.
I love Gok, but to say he never goes over budget is not true. This ep she said $1500 for her budget and the dress cost $1699. It's not dramatically over budget like the other series but Gok has done this a few times (not many).
Watching her Gran crying, made me cry - my beautiful Gran died 10 years ago and I would love to have the chance to hug her and tell her how much I love her! I was blessed to have my Gran pride of place at my wedding 16 years ago, sat at the top table with my parents. I’m now facing losing my beautiful Mum this year and I don’t know how I can. I’m just grateful that it’s not goodbye forever, it’s see you when I get there! Grief is the price we pay for loving and loving is something I have always been blessed with. Whenever you see Gok ,it’s magical and make you so happy . I hope Gok would be present in India too for helping bride in picking up the dresses within the budget.
The second dress looks a bit awkward. It has molded cups that she doesn't 'fill out'. She has a georgous body, but the way the top is structured doesn't fit her body type.

There’s something not right on the cut of the top to the skirt, maybe an inch or a half inch higher up the waist, then maybe the skirt might full bloom.

I agree that the colour was off (dingy grey). Would be perfect for her winter themed wedding if ordered in a purer white. Either way, she loved it and that is what matters most.
I'll never understand brides who drag their friends to every appointment. They have other stuff going on in their life.... they'll get over it. Find the top 3, then show them and ask for their opinion....
When I get a dress for my wedding, I really want to book an appointment with Gok he seems like the most amazing person and the dresses are gorgeous! She looks stunning in all of them.

Lol you're all talking about Gok, but I'm talking about those dresses! There's no other store I'll go to, to buy my wedding dress. This is THE store for wedding dresses.
I'm confused why the bride said she hadn't tried on dresses before but they've also spoken about her trying on dresses & she also has another dress, did she just point at it & go 'that one.' Without trying it on.
