Yaar. It was such an amazzzing discussion! These conversations should happen more and more between opposing POVs. I don't buy some of Ali Zaidi's POVs but glad that he came and faced it all. And the WHOLE credit I will give to you Shehzad bhai for not being soft with your questions and did a lot of cross questioning which I appreciate the most. You are the ONLY podcaster who asked all of those hard-hitting questions which I'd have asked to PTI leadership, because I really wanted to know how on earth PTI would defend themselves on Malik Riaz, RUDA, Hazara Community, Missing Persons, etc. PTI should realise eventually k unko plate mein rakh k hamara vote ni milega but just not being PPP or PMLN. They'll have to earn it! I hope Ali Zaidi realise it after this podcast and all other leadership. THANK YOU SO MUCH AGAIN FOR THIS PODCAST!
He didn’t face anything. He was aggressive, in an attack mode and continues to answer questions with “others did it too”. He did not answer one question with honesty and sincerity.
each and every episode doesn't fail to surprise me... You are raising the bar for yourself with each and every step... I am learning with each and every second how to investigate a subject from a distance keeping your emotions and feelings away from all of it... Way to go Shahzad sb
As a PTI supporter, really appreciate this podcast Shehzad. PTI Karachi leadership needs to be accountable. PTI needs to bring forward true middle class people from Karachi. You can only get so much support in the name of IK.
Huge Respect Shehzad Bhai 👑 As a voter of Pti, I request you to please conduct more podcasts with PTI leadership so that we can have a deep insight on the political wisdom and ideology of the top tier leadership... Pata tou chalay ye kitny paani mai hyn!!!
Why bhiee..ap puri Pti ko Ali Zaidi ki base pr judge krhe esse to ap Capt Safdar ki base pr pmln ko bhi judge kren..mana k pti Sindh ya Khi is lacking but there are good examples from pti Sindh as well..they have worked a lot in andrune Sindh..I know from personal experience..Pti kpk..they have changed kpk..pti Punjab, Ajk and Gb..ek podcast pr ap woh bhi us bnde ki jisko pti wale khd psnd nhi krty..uspr ap full party judge krhe hen
A very good discussion and thoroughly enjoyable. That Shehzad has an anti-PTI tilt is like saying water is wet. Ali Zaidi was spot on calling Shehzad out on how he was shaping the questions which gave the impression that he wanted a gotcha moment instead of genuinely trying to elicit a meaningful response. One could be a die hard liberal but regardless of one's political views, no one with half a brain can support the PDM mafia. It is very easy (read: convenient) to point out flaws and shortcomings when you haven't picked a side (overtly anyway lol) - Pick a side (openly) and stick with it.
Pick a side and stick with it??? My side is Pakistan and it's constitution, i was die hard anti PTI but in recent days PDM is not following the law, so I changed side to PTI. Sticking is a cult mentality which will make it difficult to notice flaws and wrongdoings due to halo effect.
Shahzad bhai missed this episode but now watched it. That's how journalists should go on things. Provided his guest full opportunity to express himself with hard-hitting questions. Kudos
Credit where credit is due: thank you for inviting a PTI rep. on your podcast and allowing them an opportunity to publicly clarify/state their POV on various matters.
Shahzad you have my respect. I don't generally agree with your point of view in many instances but full marks to you for not hiding your views AND giving full opportunity to your guest to defend himself. Bohat aala dost!
Really interesting and engaging discussion! It was good to see someone from PTI showing up and answering some tough questions. One could see that Ali Zaidi tried to dodge a lot of tough questions but it's commendable that he did answer a few tough ones esp about the establishment. Great work Shehzad. It won't be wrong to say that you are one of the finest podcasts hosts in the country right now. Not only do you have tough questions for ALL your guests, but there is always an element of respect that is never lost. Keep doing the wonderful work you do!
Shehzadddd. At some points during the interview the tension was so palpable that I found myself fidgeting but the way you handled conflict was so impressive. You did not leave your ground. You did not let any response fly away. I have learnt so much from your interview skills!
Appreciated the conversation, thanks to Shehazad's intellectual questions. However, political figures like Ali Haider Zaidi never answer any question. They simply beat around the bush and play blame game. Anyways, another excellent episode of the Pakistan Experience.
Oh my GOD so many times in this podcast I thought Ali Haider Zaidi would just walk off but guests need to know "Koi pooche na pooche, Shehzad to poochha ga" Ironically, as a stand up comedian/theater graduate, you're performing one of the most SERIOUSly vital roles in this country. May you see the results of your efforts to tongue tie these slimy sophists so that people actually realize they are much more dangerous than they realize. Humne politicians ko uneducated embezzlers samajh lia hai jab ke they are much more adept at deflecting and (SHOCKINGLY) even acting indifferent to answering many important questions that they should have answers to. Shehzad most people may say to you, that you are too jaded/skeptic/pessimistic in your conversations but I will just say this. ITS NOT ENOUGH, POORI TARAH KHENCH DO INKO. Become more aggressive/ruthless with your questions, you represent many such "SHAREEF AADMIs" that desperately want to ask these questions but cannot. You have been made our beacon, our outlet, our ZARIYA, to make these glib, smug and shady characters embarrassed about how they are robbing our country blind. May the powers that be, give you the only ONE thing that a person as selfless as you needs, IMMUNITY from the DANGERS that may be coming your way.
Really good. Hats off Ali Haider Zaidi for being 1st PTI leader having discussion to neutral host. Rest of pti leader should do the same. @thepakistanexperience great discussion. Really enjoyed with your grinding questions. Keep going.
I commend your tactics man- let him walk in with his stupid bravado and then call him out on his previous actions :'D This is truly a treat. Also the gall of this guy to tell you 'YOU CAN"T HANDLE THE TRUTH" lmao
@@ThePakistanExperience No my man You're doing so much for Pakistan at this moment I'm so proud of you. Ap focus rekho apnay Podcast pay, Mei Kosish kerta hun Jitni bhi apki financial support hosakti hay keron ga taka ap isko expand kerain. Ap ka kaam Pakistan ki future aor iska awam kay liyai bohat zaurui hay
Shehzad Bhai, the way you talk and debate while facing criticism is commendable. Ali Zaidi was trying to avoid your punches by putting allegations over other parties. It is very clear that PTI is not the best party in Pakistan but it is now doing politics with the slogans of "We are better from the rest". So glad that you are doing it for Pakistan.
Glad that in this day and age we have a political analyst like you Shahzad! Most of them lack any substance. You have always done your homework and are respectful and aware of your boundaries.
I feel there's a competition going on between TPE and TBT . I'm glad that a platform like TPE exists in Pakistan where you could have a genuine conversation.
Excellent work man. PTI supporter but have always wanted a capable person like you to ask bold questions from PTI. Sadly, Ali Haider dodged most of the questions.
Too good Shehzad 👌 excellent 👏 I love how wonderfully prepared you were , asking hard questions, countering with facts , while keeping a cordial atmosphere.. hats off to you ! 👏
His guests should be disturbed and asked tough questions. Rnt you tired of pakistan not disturbing it’s politicians and treating them with kids gloves?
@@liliths_ the more people go deep, the more they show themselves. If a guest is kept getting disturbed, he will give some surface level explaination and dodge the question all together.
@@talhaisrar9580 It’s actually the other way round, a politician needs to be shaken a little bit and pulled out of their comfort zone otherwise he/she keeps giving you tape recorder answers.
This is the best interview I ever heard. I am surprised that this channel has only 65k subscribers. By now you should have hit 1 million. Or the Pakistani audience is such that they don't want to hear logical conversation. Best thing about Shehzad is that he does not say "Alhamdullilah" or "Mashallah" after every third sentence as he has confidence in himself.
Being a PTI supporter, it is good to see PTI leadership on your podcast answering tough questions. Shahzad you should do a podcast with khan sahib as well.
@@ThePakistanExperience yes these videos are in pending and after watching them I'll see your stance against them also. Very very thanks Shahzad Bhai you really expose these political cults in our system. BTW it's my DREAM to be a guest in podcast someday 😉
Very glad to hear Ali Zaidi's POV. It did came across like your questions were quite accusative when it came to Ali Zaidi and Hafiz sahab. As an unbiased listener I didn't saw the same treatment to Dr. Miftah and Ahsan Iqbal. The tone of questions was lenient for them. Please correct me if i'm wrong
Its my first time watching this guy Shehzad & oh boy I’m already in love with his personality. The way he spitting the blunt facts on ali Zadi’s face with shady smile, Good God 😂
Really enjoyed this. It was neck and neck with Ali dominating bits but you took control Shehzad following his anti-pti questions comment. Well done and let’s bring more pti people to see how they handle scrutiny
Well done Shehzad Akbar even though i am pro IK but still you did well by asking the guest about the loopholes in the current PTI rhetoric. You got him on the ropes plus i believe the media should always be critical of wrong policies of the popular democratic force.more power to you lad. Pus, we kniw what you meant by election commission pindi🤫
I have criticized you for only presenting one side of the coin, but I understand that PTI leadership also wants to avoid tough questions. I wish that in the future, more PTI leaders would come, and we will see more of the discussions. That really helps people like me who try to remain close to the center and tilt at the time of vote based on rational thinking. Thank you, and keep up the good work.
Great interview, as always. Shahzad, you should have just apologised at the end and not start arguing with him. It does not mean you have accepted his point of view. Gracious host would have done that. Zaidi sahab, thank you coming to the show. I have taken your point of view and I will watch this podcast and podcasts with pmln/pppp to compare my notes and will see where I can improve.
The other thing you can do is wear a heart rate monitor during interviews. You can figure out if you have stayed calm or you became provoked or became slave to your passion.
Massive respect for a really thorough interview. As a PTI supporter, I now want more PTI leader interviews from you I want these leaders to be asked tough questions so more please
I'm a PTI supporter and I must say Shehzad Ghias has set an example of an objective interview. There were many times during the interview when I find Shehzad's perspective upright and better than Zaidi's.
interesting sensible podcast , good effort by both , nothing against Mr. Ali zaidi , i enjoyed listening to him , yet there was alot of unclarity of principle stances, whenever dealt with hard questions , he answered with 'pata nai' , ' ghalti hogayi' , 'perfect koi bhi nai'' , 'aisa nai hona chahiye tha' etc , i mean phir farq hi kia reh gaya hai , PTI mein hi kyun hain , phir to PPP PMLN PTI sab ek hi chiz hogaye , ehsan iqbal , mustafa khokar , miftah ismail had much more clarity .
In contrast to this podcast , the recent interview of suleman sharif to muzamil hassan is such a structured interview , the clarity and confidence suleman sharif had in the interview speaks for itself , he knew to defend his stance , rather than giving ambiguous answers.
Much appreciated Ghias sb! You are genuine and by far the best Pakistani podcaster, no doubt! I firmly believe in IK but understand your perspective(sort of lol). I have so much respect for the work that you do and hope you can get IK on your show soon.
Sometimes I believe that people say "Imran Khan will save Pakistan" more than " Allah will save Pakistan". Our ancestors used to worship idols and our current generation is still worshiping idols (human idols). Not much has changed actually. Please stop this personality worship and don't be dependant on some human personality to change your destiny.
Whatever you say about Pakistan politics, atleast there is some level of scrutiny and no party is completely immune from facing questions about their baggage. In India this is a distant dream.
To see who is the actual you must see who isn't held accountable. Jis Tarah humare yahan Ed, cbi sirf opposition ke pichhe padi hai uss Tarah Pakistan jo badi machhli hai uspar koi sawal nahi kar sakta
Can't believe I would ever witness such a spectacle. Shahzad and team, you guys are doing some wonderful work in the service of the nation by asking the difficult questions and persisting in the face of deflections and all the other evasion techniques on display here. The reaction of Ali Haider whenever you pointed out the endless contradictions in PTI's speech vs actions was quite telling. These people are aware of the reality that they're relying quite heavily on narrative-setting and propaganda, and they're trying their best to charge on with that. Extreme insincerity.
Couldn't help but notice that there's a huge difference between him and leaders like Ahsan Iqbal when it comes to answering questions regarding corruption and maladministration. All i heard was "mujhe nahi pata", "Unse pooch len" and above all, justifying friendliness with the TTP by saying "galat se theek hona chahte hain" and quoting Hazrat Ali and Hur. He was right when he said the conversation wasn't constructive because all he did was forcefully made the audience acknowledge and count the services they delivered in their tenure. Miftah and Ahsan Iqbal's podcast looked like a conversation leading somewhere, this felt more like a comparative analysis and justifying how they are a tad bit better than the other two mainstream parties. Kudos to Shahzad and the team of TPE for pulling this one off, I completely agree with his statement that the PTI narrative has been narrowed down to being the lesser evil if not clearly virtuous.
Thanks for doing a good interview as a PTI supporter I want anchors to ask tough questions from PTI leaders and I have a request that please invite Khan sahab as well as he has given two interviews to muzzamil hassan as well and I am sure he won't deny giving a interview to you and want you to ask tough questions from him 👍
Not one straight answer - you could see with leadership like this PTI is in the gutter in Sindh, despite PPP being as terrible as it is. Great interview Shahzad
What Ali said @1:34, I feel it's true. The way Shehzad formalize his questions and build conversations with Ali, even with guests from other political parties, it reflects his biasness against PTI and IK. They are more of accusations rather than open ended questions. I commented once before, Shehzad is biased against PTI and IK which I don't like. But what I have learnt over the last few months after watching some of his podcasts is that his intentions seems good. There might be some events in his life that shaped his mindset towards PTI and IK this way. But he tries to ask questions that public wants to ask from these politicians and law makers. I belive more PTI folks should come to his podcast, which would be a learning opportunity for Shehzad and even us, the audience. This kind of nuanced conversations are SOOO SIGNIFICANT in growing Pakistani peoples vision and expectations of a better Pakistan. Good work Shehzad! 👍🏻
As a disenfranchised PTI supporter unfortunately this interview gives me little hope to trust in PTI again. It's good to see Ali Haider Zaidi sb acknowledging some of the mistakes they made, but go back to the question on Karachi, it is quite clear at the local leadership level they still have no clue the level alienation they have created between themselves and the people of Karachi. To his point, Imran Khan was over burdended hence he couldn't do much for Karachi, he will be more burdended the next time since thing's are considerably worse now so I guess he's pretty clearly telling the people of Karachi to go find solutions elsewhere then. The fundamental issue I feel for the PTI is that across the board from the very top to PTI's lower management, somehow they believe that because everyone but them is corrupt, they are entitled to rule, no matter what. And if they cannot deliver, for any reason whatsoever, it is always someone else's fault. Either the establishment's, or the opposition's, or the beaurucrats. There is no self reflection. And I fail to understand how they plan to do better if they aren't even cognizant of mistakes they've made before.
I like how much you know about everything you bring up, obviously you are excellent at your research. Everything is great and the only constructive criticism I have is that I think you should let your guest answer your question fully before asking the next question.
Good podcast - given how polarised our people are we should listen to other side of story too especially in this time where you are fed what you like on social media.
After listening him and Hafiz Naeem...jamat e Islami clearly seems better than PTI.... However still hats off to Ali zaidi,I really enjoyed and learned from the podcast🎉
He was so reluctant saying when you asked who helped Ehsan escape instead of saying it himself he asked you to say it as if you were sitting on a throne handling things.
You have the right to ask tough questions and as a disclaimer I am not a PTI supporter but you need to give respect to your guests plus please host the podcast with a better preparations most of the question were based on information from Social Media and others were poorly researched questions
I hope you enjoyed the interview with PTI official. They should be brought to such interviews and podcasts so that they must be exposed on how to respond to critical questions.
Court ko Kuch nhi pta 🤣🤣🤣 PPP and PML (N) ki corruption prove na ho because they are Mafia jbky wo court b jaty hain and jail bhi aur PTI walo sy pocho unki corruption Ka tou they answer "prove krdo" ary Baba court tou jao
Credit should be given where it is due. This was a good podcast Shehzad. You allowed him to give the answers that is good on you. I will give it to you that you have improved a lot on this front and I see you do not interject that much now compared to before. that is so good to see. PTI can do a lot more in Sindh and Baluchistan and I feel that is where you could prepare better questions. Like we as an audience want to know what/how do the policy makers think about the issues of these two provinces? And how do they plan to resolve them. For example how do we market the coastal belt of Sindh and Baluchistan for international tourism? whats the roadmap for it? what are the blockers? So I want to know from PPP and PTI policy makers or JI bosses how do they plan to improve the economies and social lives in interior Sindh and Baluchistan before the national election later this year. So I can better vote. We need to know both sides policies in an ideal world and then we can hold them accountable 5 years on
