These shows always turn into human melodrama instead of what we actually want to see, people fighting aliens. Also, the aliens always get nerfed between the titles and the episode....

He should have fought a lot more aliens, and not been such a baby, cos that was basically Noah Wiley's character from Invasion Earth or whatever it's called, just before he got out of the service. Why do they always have to have a troubled relationship and a sick kid, ya know?
Why would they abandon their biggest money laundering operation in the entire history ? Of course they'll keep the funding flowing... from the pocket of the people, to the pocket of the Military-industrial complex/politics
Just.. No.. Too many arching story lines that go nowhere and have zero relevance to the story. The soldier who struggles to return to his family, the wife who has an adulterous husband, the sheriff retiring, the burnt crop circle, the kids who survive a random bus crash who are also full of bullies and play off a power struggle trope via societal hierarchy, the space administration being controlling and vindictive to employees yet have no issue with "love" being the acceptable sideline, the military taking random people as doctors and letting the "artifact" that has control over the aliens to be held by the family. This story just feels thrown together to try and make a war of the worlds scenario come into play without ever revealing much of anything about the actual attacks nor pulling the stories together. Buildings being burnt down at random, giant holes from meteors I guess, sheriff who just has a "gut" feeling, kids getting bloody noses and headaches but nobody else, random vibrations all over the place with no explanation, power going out all over the world yet everywhere that people need it for the story to continue the power is just fine. Just.. No..
The military being nothing but a ag tag bunch of thugs in their own country arresting people and taking what they need, but are trying to fight the aliens, by not fighting them and some Global force structure in charge of everyone instantly. Some weird guerilla force operating in the country shooting at the military because, reasons...meanwhile we have aliens that should be a unifying enemy.

Last I heard, it was given a season three. Agree, it is a terrible plot thus far and some terrible characters. Maybe they can turn it around and give the viewers what they want in season three.

Is there another season to this series, or did they end it here? I don't think I'd enjoy watching the whole series. But the end is such a cliffhanger, I need some sort of resolution😢.
Too many different storylines season one. There have to be characters I connect with that I can root for. Watching someone’s marriage implode while strange events occur didn’t do it.
This seems AWSOM but they need to take more time with character development. Just a splash or two. This is confusing and ungratifying. I like watching but it could be so much more than a sideshow. It's a really good story.

Drop the dr and the gi joe story lines, and more battles, this might have been ok, even with sketchy effects. They never have enough aliens in these shows. At least alien nation had lots of aliens in it. Or V. Even that had too much human crap and not enough lizards. These "producers" really dont have a clue what we want to see, do they? And its not like we havent told them. They're just convinced they know better.

Even within the republican party candidates college educated conservatives choose to support other candidates like DeSantis over Trump.
