Richard Ellis God saves his people from his judgment. The tribulation is not God's judgement it is a result of the Lawless one and when jesus returns to judge we will be raptured out, we will be saved from the judgement but that comes after the tribulation

+neogovernment The Lord Jesus has finished His Creation (Genesis 2) and His Atonement on the Cross (John 19). He also finished everything on earth He was sent to do including the Resurrection. But His work didn't end 2,000 years ago. He has spent the last two millennia doing all kinds of things. One example is the letters He wrote to the seven churches in Asia. Another example is the miracles He has performed in my life. And He has much yet to do when He returns, as the Scritpures make very clear. The idea of "finished work" comes from the Reform church and it is very dangerous because they use it to back up their heresy that man does not have to do anything to be saved, when in fact the Bible says the opposite: that man is saved through following Christ. If you think Mr Pawson has said something which contradicts the Bible I would love to know what it is. I do not agree with Mr Pawson on every little detail, but overall I think he speaks the truth.

And yet, Jesus is later recorded as saying “Look, I come like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake and remains clothed, so as not to go naked and be shamefully exposed.” This is in Revelation 16 immediately prior to the pouring of the 7th bowl judgement.
People are getting confused with The Great Tribulation, Day of the Lord and the Wrath of God. I am almost moving away from Pre to Post (still learning !)
Watch kent Hovinds teaching on end times if you havent already! He was pre trib and taught it for decades! Lord spoke to him years later and revealed to him that it is post trib. Pre wrath!!! Unpopular opinion in the states so he has received a lot of backlash for it but his teaching is excellent.

The events of the six seals will precede the rapture of the church. The beginning of sorrows will be the first three seals. (Mat. 24:4-&, Rev. 6:1-6) The days of the great tribulation will be fourth, fifth, and sixth seals. (Mat. 24:9-29, Rev. 6:7-17; 7:9-17)
Post tribulation, so the church is raptured at the end and who is left behind and to what are they left behind because in Revelation 19 Jesus is Coming to rule for 1000 years. So the bride goes through the trib and is called out at the end and brought right back to rule with Him
Pls do read this fully. The church is raptured after the tribulation. After the trib and the rapture, follows the wrath of God (from which we are saved - 1 Thess 1:10, 5:9). Yes, tribulation and wrath are 2 different things. Tribulation is what the world does to us, Jesus said we'll have it. (Matt 24:29) Wrath is what God does to the World. Bible says that we won't be here for that. Many confuse trib with wrath and confuse that the Bible telling that 'we won't be here for the wrath' means we won't be here for the tribulation. Now coming back to the main question. From the time the Antichrist breaks the treaty and desolates the temple and ends the sacrifices (Dan 9:27). This marks the last part of the 7 yr period. 3.5 years or 1260 days (which is the actual tribulation). So from the time he desolates the temple to when we are raptured (end of tribulation) is 1260 days. Now we know from Dan 8:13,14 that the Temple remains desolate for 2300 days after which it will be cleansed. If the tribulation ends 1260 days from the desolation, then we have a remaining of 1040 days until the temple is cleansed. (1260+1040=2300 days) The wrath of God is poured on the Earth during this remaining 1040 days. At that time we will be with Jesus at the marriage supper of the lamb. We return with Jesus at the battle of Armageddon at the end of the 1040 days ( that is 2300 days from the desolation). And then the temple will be cleansed then comes the 1000 yr reign of Jesus. This is the error of conditional salvation. ( Endure to the end Gospel ) You have to feel sorry for all those Christians who die quickly after being saved because they haven't become ' good enough ' to complete sanctification process . The tribulation is not God's wrath the tribulation is Satan's wrath. Who does he persecute Satan persecute the Christians. If Christians are "rapture away" who's getting persecuted. I love David Pawon's preaching especially about divorce and remarriage adultery and the false doctrine of OSAS. I don't agree with his eschatology though. This was over 4 years ago and a lot has happened to make the 4 signs looking very obvious. We just had a miraculous blood moon. I wonder if he has had more recent teaching about this. From what I understand he is about to be 89 years old, and Israel has been a nation for 70 years. Lord Jesus Come!

I believe the signs just grow more and more obvious that the rapture could happen any day. I have a "repent or be left behind" letter that I gave out four today with a gospel tract, and two of the women I talked to already knew the rapture is coming. I have probably given out 4000 since last fall, and I would appreciate prayers that God will bring people to repent and be saved. If the rapture of the church is not pre-tribulation, what is the point of it? Consider Revelations 20 v 4. Since most of the church will not survive without being able to buy and sell - they will stave to death; since this scripture implies that the alternative is that most Christians will be beheaded!
+neogovernment That is correct, most Christians will be beheaded. The apostles were all crucified so being beheaded does not seem anywhere near as bad as that. As for the question of "what is the point of the rapture"? You are asking what is the point in the saints being gathered together with the Lord Jesus as He returns to earth? Those who love the Lord Jesus long to be united with Him. There is no question of "why", only the question of "how long must we wait?". Or perhaps you are asking: what is the point of flying to Jerusalem when we could just drive there or walk there? Bear in mind that when we rise out of the ground, most of us will be thousands of miles away from Jerusalem and will not have access to our own transport. Flying with the Angels will be the most natural way to get to Jerusalem.
David Pawson is one of my favourite Bible Teachers, but regarding last things I do not fully agree with him, question, What is the Great Tribulation?? the period of time when God pours out His judgements on a Christ rejecting world, and several times we are told that 'believers are not appointed to wrath but to salvation' since our sins have been dealt with by the blood of Jesus, Jesus is coming back to save the world, but before that He is coming to save Israel from annialation by all the armies of the world, then he will set up his kingdom on earth that will last for 1000 years. We are told by Jesus as David said four signs that will tell us that Jesus coming is near, In the world, In the Church In the middle East, these three signs are visible today, we have yet to see signs in the heavens, the recent false prophesying of the blood moons and Sept 2017 are not the signs that Jesus is speaking about.Jesus tells us to watch, be prepared, avoid being deceived.and if we are really watching for His return to live holy lives. Just one last thing, and observaation, regarding Jesus first coming most of the signs pointing to His coming were missed, or mis-interpreted, will the same be said of Jesus Second Coming, But one thing I am sure of when people in the new earth look back they will see, Jesus first coming, is Jesus Second coming, but the thing that will take up central place, the one thing that will take their attention will be the blood stained cross of Calvary..,
Sorry my brother the great tribulation is the wrath of man towards fellow man. But the wrath if God is different that is when God is going to pour out its wrath upon the wicked. Many think that great tribulation is God's wrath but it isn't. Think about it are we better believers than the apostles that were martyred in the early church age.

Jesus said in Matthew 24 that the signs that he was giving the disciples; had to do with the Abomination of Desolation spoken of by the prophet Daniel and he said that those things were to happen in their generation which is 40 years so Jesus was crucified in 30ad and the Abomination of desolation occurred in 70Ad that is 40 years. Between 65ad to 70Ad according to the Antiquities of Flavian Josephus there were miracles in Jerusalem and all kinds of signs in the heavens Josephus even wrote that the actual day when the Romans finally broke through the last wall of the city by using famine that there were" Chariots of Armies in the sky" pouring down fire and the Eastern gate of the Temple was mysteriously unlocked in all there were 7 miracles that occurred during the time of the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple Matthew 23:31-36 31 “Therefore you are witnesses against yourselves that you are sons of those who murdered the prophets. 32 Fill up, then, the measure of your fathers’ guilt. 33 Serpents, brood of vipers! Of Olives that day preachers believe that that is in the future but it is not. Christ's saving work is finished!! "Tetellestai!!" David is right insofar as the yet to come reigning and conquering work of Christ is concerned. But he is way off as far as the next event is concerned. The next event on the prophetic calendar is the Rapture of the Church before the Second Coming. Read 1 Thessalonians 4, John 4:1-6, 1 Cor.15. Eschatology of the Rapture before the Tribulation is soundly Biblical. David has no idea that this is JUDGMENT. We are not bound for judgment as believers. This is the very reason Christ died, i.e. to deliver us from judgment that is coming on the world. I am not looking for the Antichrist. I am looking for Jesus Christ the Saviour.
Mark Rogers where do you see rapture as you mean it un Marc 13 and 14? There is pretty clear (Jesus speaking) that we will suffer, will be beaten, will be judged by the world... But God will spare us by making the days shorter (not by taking us away from the trouble). So we will leave through tribulation and we have to be ready for. Some of us will duy then, some not. The rapture teaching is false and I think the Christians that believe in it will be those who will fall. Because they won't be ready. Pray God to show you what is true.

Clodagh Shiels it's been a while since I viewed this and made comment so I am watching again. I will watch all the way through in case you reply to this but for now I would call attention to his words starting at about 9 minutes in. He speaks of words from Mathew concerning Jesus' response when questioned by the disciples and includes the Church in his response. This was before the cross, there is no Church mentioned in Mathew; Jesus was speaking to Jews, talking about Jews and their future during the coming 7 yr Tribulation. This is the times of Jacob's Troubles spoken of by Daniel, it will be a time when God rains down His wrath on earth. Paul promised the Church, the Body of Christ, that it would not suffer God's wrath. On the cross when God turned from Jesus God's wrath was shown on all the believing Christian's sins. To say Christians go through the Tribulation is making the cross ineffective for us. The Church will be caught out before the Tribulation begins leaving unbelievers and Jews. The man in the video is teaching Replacement Theology by applying to the Church Biblical doctrines given to the Jews.

Clodagh Shiels thank you for your kind words. On a personal note I am a 69 yr young male farmer in the Tx panhandle. I am much better than I once was, but not yet as good as I will be.😘 I will say I agree with the speaker on many points such as Jesus returning to bring salvation to the whole physical world and that we will receive a glorified 33 yr old body; however I disagree with his take on the timeline of the rapture of the Church and his doctrinal application of the teachings in Matthew being to the Church. There are many works instructions in Matthew which, being a Bible Believing Baptist, I must reject as doctrinal instruction to a Christian saved through faith alone. I believe we today are justified (saved) by the Faith of Christ (Gal 2:16) not our personal faith. However I do feel many in other dispensations will have to show their personal faith by their works as stated in James. I see the instructions in Matthew as words for the Jews to live by during the coming Trib and 1,000 yr reign. When someone question my belief in this regard, I just ask for the title to their car based on the following passage. Quiet soon they don't feel as strongly about being doctrinal instruction to the Church. Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away. @@olegig5166 Amen brother. Justification through faith alone. Oh that we may know Him and the power of His resurrection. My only worry is that if post trib is wrong, then I've nothing to lose. I won't have to go through the pain! But if pre trib is wrong, it will be a mighty shaking of ones faith.
Revelation 3:10 tells us we will not see one hour of what is coming on all the earth. and the great tribulations is about punishment to the Jews and the wicked. From the beginning to the end the Lord has all way taken the righteous out of the way first. you can believe what his man is saying, but he is a false teacher
Never thought I would have to say something negative against Davids' ministry. I think he must be getting too old and maybe should decide to retire now. What he says in this video is not accurate. When Christ proclaimed, "It is Finished"! It was finished period. The Devil was defeated, the price was paid and salvation for the whole world had been paid for! For David to suggest that this has not been accomplished just because it cannot be seen is a statement of zero faith.

+neogovernment Your heart for Christ's finished work is beautiful. Yes, He finished and completed all at His cross; that the coming government would not even be possible without the passion of the cross. I don't think, however, David was disparaging the efficacy of the cross. I think he's merely stating that more was to come after the cross; that the cross was not an end but a means to an end - that being the fulfillment and fruit of the cross, namely the coming Kingdom age and the New Jerusalem.
+neogovernment I agree with you neo, Jesus said it is finished in John 19:30 and a second witness is John 17:4 I have Glorified THEE on the earth: I have finished the work which THOU gavest me to do. And that is that=IT IS FINISHED. And when a man, any man, preacher, teacher, sinner or saved says something that is out right the opposite of what GOD's Word says, they are either deceived, a liar or an agent of the devil. I don't know this man, but if he is of GOD someone needs to point out what the Bible says and not what he speculates or wants it to say, for he will be held accountable for every word and deed, whether good or bad, true or false. JimmyCarol100 The work of the Cross of finished. The purpose for which the Cross was necessary was not. If so, the Kingdom should have manifested in full physical form at that time. Even His disciples were unclear asking Jesus if He would restore Israel. The Kingdom, its fullness, has not come as yet. That's what Pawson is teaching. It is not heresy.
The iniquity of us all being laid on Him, the Messiah, was finished on the cross, but God has many numerous promises that He hasn't kept yet. The Messiah will make good on all these promises during the 1000 years THEN He will say "IT IS FINISHED". You can read it in Revelation 21:6, but it's best to read from 21:1-6.

Please please do not take sermons off you tube. David Pawson has bought us so much closer to God but also taught us to have the fear God.
