So heres the question ive been trying to figure out but cant find a good answer: at what points is it worth holding EM for procs to line up vs just using it as soon as it comes off CD
it really depends on the fight length, where and when you need damage and ofc how long X proc is away, if you have EM up and you get gloves + trinket in 5 seconds I usually hold it. then you gotta figure out if you hold EM here, will you cuck yourself out of another EM? or will the boss fight end before you could get a second one anyway, and in that case you could hold it longer for more procs or MC on nef, execute phase on chimaeron
Do we have to worry about a Haste cap for fights where I do get additional haste effects, like Sinestra? Considering 4piece T11 set bonus, Elemental Mastery and such things?
@@EleEnjoyer so as for reforgelite; swap values of haste and mastery for that fight? Should be simple enough. My raid usually does a 5-8min break before the boss
probably a stupid question, but my fire elemental only attacks when its super close to the boss. is there a way to let it attack when its farther away? and second question: I'm having trouble with arkanotron as I need to keep interrupting him while doing damage to another target. How do you deal with that? Hope you read this and thanks for the nice guide :)
There's 2 ways I've used before to interrupt my assignments more easily. 1. Make a mouseover macro for your Wind Shear and hover over the Arcanotron boss frame when you want to interrupt. I don't have the best reaction time and sometimes lose my cursor on the screen, so I don't use it this macro anymore. 2. Make a macro that prio's your Focus Target over your current Current for Wind Shear. That means if you have no Focus Target, it will do Wind Shear on your Current Target. Whenever Arcanotron is active, set him as your focus target. This second way Is the way I do it now. It's also useful on the Corrupting Adherents on Cho'Gall. The Macro in Question (which also includes Purge with a shift mod): #showtooltip /stopcasting /cast [@focus, exists, nodead, harm, nomod] [nomod] Wind Shear /cast [@focus, exists, nodead, harm, mod:shift] [mod:shift] Purge Extra tip if you will use this macro: Use a mouseover macro to set your focus more easily instead of right clicking the target portrait.
This question right here, it feels terrible having to drop totems again after you have flame shocked, my totem never attacks unless I drop after I'm in combat
It really doesn’t attack if you pop it pre-pull, unless you get damaged or its right on top of the target the AI on our totems is just absolutely awful so after your pre-cast lightning bolt you can drop it and it‘ll attack whenever you don’t fire ele at the start
