The Multihull Group hosted a private webinar for owners and potential buyers. This includes the introduction. To skip to the walkthrough go to 6:25 minutes. Contact us for more... www.themultihullgroup.com/con...
Thank you for the very informative video. You show the details and not just the living- and sleeping room. :-) I know in Australia you are mainly into coastal sailing only. As an offshore sailor I would like to know: - Is there an offshore enforced version of the mainsail / genoa? - Where you recommend to put the water maker? - You showed the locker but it would be nice to see the installed power generator. - Where would I put the dive compressor? could it fit in the outside sitting locker to STB? - Is that locker high enough to store say 2-3 standard 12 lt scuba tanks? - The very front spaces accessible from the deck you showed the STB one quickly. One is considered for the boy's toys. The other one does it have space for a 05x2m workbench with a vice and drawers underneath i.e. a workshop for service maintenance and repairs? In summary this is my next boat. It as space and storage many 50+ boats don't have. Yet the width of the 46 is still manageable for haul outs with most standard travel lifts and does not need a speacial commercial yard to haul out. The boat has a few features included which are deal breakers for me on many other boats. A great job and compliments to Lagoon.
Pleasure Sir, we are so glad you like the content. Yes, you can order a reinforced set of sails, but this is normally ordered as a charter option for heavy use by many individuals. We find that the standard sails are perfect for offshore cruising for extended periods. There is a great spot for the water maker just aft of the engines. When ordered from the factory the water maker comes mounted on a plinth just aft of the Port engine. The Generator locker is a good size that can fit up to an 11Kva generator. There is also plenty of storage space in front of the water tanks under the bow seating area for a dive compressor - locker is approx. 100cm deep so dive tanks should not be no problem. The bow lockers extend from deck level to the bottom of the hull. There is a floor around 1.2 meters down from the deck level to make this space a usable space. This is a great spot for storage but to use as a workshop would require modification beyond the offering from the factory.
Be nice if the cleats on sugar scoops were the pop up kind. But I just love this Lagoon 46 and the 62 by far what I would get if I was going to but a Cat.
Generally we jibe a Code 0, it is very simple to furl it and unfurl it during the jibe, otherwise we set it up to pull through between the forestay and the king rope of the Code 0 when the angle is right when the Lagoon 46 passes through the wind. It is very simple. We hope that this makes sense. Make sure you are subscribed as we have sailing demonstrations coming up in our Inspire and Learn series over the next few months!
You talk that the fuel tanks are under the beds, my question when you are in moving and you don't have the tanks full you notice the sound of fuel moving inside of the tank ???? Thanks nice review
Hi Bill, if you look at the title and description this was a webinar that was streamed to the internet. This clearly left us with a very low res file but nonetheless, with this disclaimer, we decided to upload it for those who missed the live stream. If you look at our other videos I am sure you will find that they are very high quality.
Hi there, thank you for your feedback. We have had feedback that people wanted a really indepth walkthrough explaining everything! This is actually a webinar that was live to an audience and largely uncut. We will be sure to continue to make different length videos for various people.
Why would you film the walk through on a potato. I'll never understand what goes through the heads of a marketing department when they have a million dollar product and don't even professionally film on a $300+ camera. Prospective buyers look here and is doesn't instill confidence.
Hi Trent, this was a recording of a webinar as you can see in the description. As it was live streamed it had to be filmed on a phone and running through wifi. This was not produced to be "the best quality" but rather an opportunity for our customers to ask questions real time and it was an after thought to post to RU-vid. We have lots of other content on this boat just not in great depth but more to come.
@@TMGYachts You could have at least live streamed in 1080p come on, its been three months. Why not just say, " Yeah it isn't ideal, we will take that onboard and upload a higher resolution next time." I just watched your Lagoon 50 video and it's in 1080p and looks like potato as well. You need better cameras. Prospective buyers are watching this on large 4k screens, not 2005 mobile phones.
@@trentspencer7991 Thank you for your feedback. We have very high-quality camera equipment which we will continue to use moving forward. Unfortunately, live streams are only run through phones and via the internet therefore reducing resolution. We opted to post both these videos despite not being ideal quality as we do not have unlimited access to these owners boats. However, we do promise that as soon as we have access to these models again we will try our best to ensure we use all our hightech equipment at that time.
