I really can't say how much I appreciate all the tutorials.from bobber to drift and shore to boat I have learned so much from you guys. I would love personally to see you guys go somewhere exotic and learn yourselves and then teach us along the way. Like bluefin fishing in Canada or barramundi across the pond. I don't know if that's outside of your guys range due to guiding and such but that would be awesome to see. Tite lines guys. Thank you also for protecting our fish and land.

To keep the anchovies mouth from opening with how you rig it with the 2 hooks, you can put a 1/2” or 3/4” through the top of its head and wrap a small rubber band over the top and bottom of that nail. Wrap the rubber band all the way around (360) degrees

To rig a whole herring with a solid tie hook rig: set the top hook into the side of the herring, like you would the trailing hook of the slider rig. The trailing hook hangs free. Put the bend you want in the herring. Then half hitch your leader at least two times around the nose/mouth of the herring. I don't know if it would with an anchovy though because of how the mouth is.

Very interesting. I wonder if that rigging could be adapted for Mid-Western walleye fishing? I would like to learn how to tie that sliding hook rig. A tip for you guys. Being as you want your bait to spin, check out this walleye rig and see if you can adapt it to your fishing. Google, slow death rig, or slow death hook. These are rigs with specifically bent hook shanks, by the manufacturer, that make nightcrawlers, and small minnows spin. They're used on similar rigs as you show here. The only problem that I see is finding a hook size to match the bait you show here. The slow death hooks might be to small for you. Maybe you could bend your own hooks?

I used to rig for many years just as shown in the video however Dick's Sure Spins have put a stop to that. Way more productive and I use less than half the bait and have fewer drive-bys. Hook pretty much every fish now.

One thing I would like to see is what and how you guys fish with kwikfish anchored in tide water using just current. Where you think is the best location to be in? For instance above or below the hole in outgoing and incoming tides. I do this type of fishing in the fall and still new at it but would like see something on that style of fishing. Thanks👍

Ok so my comment doesn't have anything to do with this video but wanted to share a story. My daughter and I went to the puyallup and she is 5. We hooked 1 pink and 1 Jack king on the puyallup. Both in the mouth. My kid would say out loud it's in da moufff lol well this guy next to us was snagging on purpose and my daughter said out loud he needs to put it back because it's in the belly.. and he heard her and kept it smh. Then she said he not following the rules LMAO and he looked so embarrassed. By the way super proud of her. Wish I could share the pic of her first Jack king.

yo addicts, im new to chovy trolling and trying to fine tune my program. im fishing the mouth of a river trolling without downriggers do i want the weight to be dragin bottom or barely touching but right at bottom just holding my bait down there, wondering if dragging it causes less bites, kinda my therory but im only a few trips into trolling, i mostly fish upriver quite a ways and am new to bay fishing trying to figure out how to get more bites next few times out trying to do my home work thanks fellas
