Amazing guide mate! Your videos got me into this game recently & I’m having an absolute blast! A breakdown of these settings will definitely help me fine tune for the best experience possible. Thanks!
I usually start by the easiest difficulty 😅 but this game... i would probably start on advanced. No gear or weapon score. I'm all about immersion and tactics.
The video i needed for years 😅 I haven't got the game yet, but watched a great deal of videos, no one has shown these settings. That deserves a big like 👍
I usually run with nearly everything off of the hud. I only allow the mini map with some of the navigational points showing, but that's because I treat it like I'm wearing a Garmin on my wrist. No enemy or friendly icons, I resort to good communications so that we can keep track of each other when playing online. Usually run on normal difficulty though, because I've found that it typically gives off that "where exactly are these shots coming from" reaction from the enemies. Though after talking it over with everybody we might be switching to the advanced difficulty. Really like all of your videos. It was your videos that got a lot of people I know into playing the game, especially with the way you put them together and add the music on them too. A favorite is the Taking Casualties video. Looking forward to seeing more!
Thank you man, that was one of my favorites that I made too! Sounds like fun man, normal can still be hard especially if you use settings that limit HP regen and injuries always being on, but I always recommend trying advanced for sure.
Nice to see people putting that much effort into videos for GRBP. Great job explaining the settings. All the stuff that was added during the years probably can be irritating for new joiners.
Thank you man, it for sure can be a lot at first and I could see new players giving up on them. The presets are great but fine tuning the game to your playstyle really makes the difference so hopefully this helps them out!
This was really helpful. I had played this game at launch and I am just now returning to check out the new content. I had already committed to playing on immersive but it can be overwhelming to find the right settings to tweak, in order to get the right balance. I think as I go, I will continue to tweak up various settings here and there, so as not to shock my system.
Thanks! I know a lot of players had left before the immersive update and wanted to get it out there that the game is in a much different state from launch. I recommend those settings I showed for a good balanced but still challenging playthrough for sure :)
@@eagleyezxgaming I played Wildlands on both PC and PS4 through. I played a bit of Tier Mode after. Then Breakpoint on launch. I have played a tiny bit of PVP but not very good at it. When I began Breakpoint again last week, it only took me a few minutes to realize how much I like this game (and I play a wide variety.)
I crank everything to the max almost. Advanced or extreme (usually extreme). Bandage quantity several. I can always craft more if I need. Syringes never heal injuries. Those are only for those rare times where getting hit didn’t injure me. Risk of injury always maxed. I want just about every round I take to cause injury. Stamina consumption maxed because I rarely sprint and never run out of stamina. Health reten at partial usually but I don’t think there’s a big difference between partial and none there. Even with the highest difficulty settings and very minimal hud (ammo counter and crosshairs is all I use) you can still get into some crazy fun gunfights. You really just have to be smart about your positioning and weapon choices. Use suppressive fire to keep enemies in cover while you move. AI teammate weapon choices also play a big role in how successful you’ll be. Usually at least one guy with a DMR and the other two with AR’s capable of full auto fire.
Hey, nice vid. Two things tho, you can have golden weapons from Maria's shop when GS is enabled. When in both immersive or GS mode, you can craft syringe, bandage, 'nade and so on on the fly. In the bottom left of your equipment screen menu, you have a green button with a tool from which you can craft. (so you never run out of bandage as long as you have what to craft them virtually speaking). Pro tips : On PC, when you press "i" it will bring your inventory, on the top right corner of the screen, you will see how many bullets you have per kind of ammo. I'll definitely recommend this vid for the new players who want to know more about the settings.
Awesome video! I'm definitely adjusting my settings similar to yours. I like the immersion level you laid out and its the next challenging step for me in this game now. Thank you ✌😎
I definitely enjoyed the video and it was very informative, I played the game almost the same way you did, some settings I prefer are more difficult and others easier. Although I took my time to understand the settings I couldn't skip your explanation. Thanks for the effort ☠️
I used to play on Extreme in the game forces you to Play real quiet like I switched it to Advanced long time ago it's better that way the enemy still hit hard but you're right great video b u d
It was informative video really. I tried the game at beta and launch and hated it for what it was. It was division with different paint job. Nothing like windlass was. But now it seems it could be worth playing. In fact we have been playing Wildlands with couple friends and one of them asked if this was really so shit that it wouldn't be even worth a ten bucks and I said yes. But after this I might say tomorrow to them that maybe we should give this a go.
So I decided from the start that I was going to play on full immersion/extreme. For those wondering, I die A LOT! Even after 230+ hours into the game, I will have my butt handed to me if I don’t take the time to plan. The one criticism I have about playing this way is the story missions. Many of them are forced firefights meaning stealth gameplay is frequently ineffective. The story missions are simply not balanced towards stealth gameplay so many of them took me 4+ attempts to complete. Some are super frustrating such as Trey Stone’s final mission or The Strategist final mission. Borderline unfair. All that said, roaming the world and playing all the other non-main story content is a total blast! Lots of fun, lots of opportunities to have some excellent set piece moments.
A standard combat load for the US military is 210 rounds. One 30 round mag in the gun and 6 reloads. That's not to mention the extra loaded mags in the ruck that you'd be carrying so it's not exactly that unrealistic.
Many thanks for the coverage 👍 I'm kind of shocked actually, Breakpoint got it's ass marched back to Gamestop, same day..... ....but this looks closer to the game I wanted, and other features I wish other games offered. It's enough to pick it up again - I should have known better, always give Ubi a year or more. 🤔 always give -any- "AAA published" game more time, it's the unnecessary reality we're stuck in.
You're welcome man and you're definitely right. I think nowadays devs are taking advantage of people's impatience with these releases coming out half baked but atleast in Breakpoint's instance it did shape up very nicely! I'd highly recommend it to anyone who enjoyed Wildlands, while the story and setting don't compare well the overall gameplay is a very big improvement.
@@rossmangaming8540 cheers man, that's dynamite advice 👍 To play without a gear score AND have the lobby/HQ area to myself ?! That's a Day One I'll happily do-over 👍 All the best dude, looking forward to watching more of your content 👍🍻
So gear score, should you at least get to 250 before you try shutting it off? Honestly not sure but won't your weapons and gear top out at 250? I just started a couple weeks ago, level 190 I think, and I want to bump things up but I don't want to pour hours in with no advancement. Edit: I know the question is moot once it's off, it's just the idea of grinding all that way and not hitting 250. Honestly I hate the rpg system. A bullet is a bullet and should affect all enemies the same, but still, I'm already 190. Unless 250 means absolutely nothing.
I play immersive but guided. I don’t want to be wandering around for an hour and a half looking for my objective. Not an RPG player. Didn’t like The Division game with the RPG gameplay. Even though Ghost doesn’t play the same way, I don’t want to wait to unlock with gear score. My favorite weapon is an M4A1. I have no idea why.
I play on imersive mode with severe injury instead of always bc it's annoying and looks stupid bc I got shot once in my plate carrier and I suddenly need to bandage my leg and arm
Can you update this video? A lot of us bought this game now that its on Steam & fixed with immersive mode. ... Also... how we can level up a class via Golem Island without Gear mode. Where is a titan drone? I think engineer level 10 to 11 challenge is to find & kill one. ... Thanks in advance!!!
Also... what happens if you go from immersive to gear & back again (just to do raid) & you bought items (real money &/or skell credits from real), etc??? ... Any help would be greatly appreciated
Lastly... me & my bro are playing this. Where is a good place to meet people our age to play with? Discord? Ubisoft forums? Never used discord. Best place/video to learn/explained? ... Again... thank you in advance. Any help much appreciated
thanks for the video, quick question, with the gear score off, you still obtain new weapons that you switch at bivouc etc, in the game world as blueprints? is that still the only way to obtain new weapons with the gear score off?
Yep, you can keep and modify an enemy weapon you pick up however if you choose to change it for another gun at a camp it will be gone until you find it again. The only way to keep a weapon and change it freely is to get the blueprint. There are multiple ways to get blueprints however, most are found in the world, some are from class challenges, mission rewards and also from the Pathfinder Class' crate things.
Oh absolutely man can't hurt to have some AI teammates to help out or just to look cool haha. The only time AI teammates can hurt is when they throw a frag grenade at your feet....lol
I believe you can find that option in the second settings tab in your menus. Once you're there I don't remember the exact name but it's likely near the top and fairly easy to find along with all the other HUD options :)
hey i’ve got a question…i just recently started playing this game and im currently level 185, id love to change the settings so it would be as realistic as possible, i just love being stealthy and all… so the question is if i change all of those settings to make the game more realistic how will it impact on my gear level and all? can i also change back to the levels whenever i want to? or is it better to just create a new character for this purpose? ps. excuse my english its not my first language😬 and props to the video it helped me understand a lot of things🫶 if there is anyone to answer this question thanks a lot too much love
Thank you man! You can change back and forth between having Gear Score on or off freely without the need to make a new character! There are differences between the two modes, such as only changing weapons at a bivouac. Once you swap back to Gear Score on everything will swap back including your loadout and levels! Hope this helps!
