I’ve started a no ai teammate/solo/extreme/no hud and no perk/skill point/no parachute/no nvg play through. It is incredible and highly recommended if you are a stealth player
This game is perfect for immersive rp. I got a kit together to fly to Cape North from Erowhen and was shot down right before the beach to cap north. All my "gear" was lost with the heli so I did Cromwells entire campaign up there with the "use what you can find" mentality and the experience was so much more intense.
Sounded like an awesome time! I've done similar scenarios with friends, putting limitations and a little imagination into the game really can transform the experience you get out of breakpoint into something so much more immersive and intense as you said.
Got to praise your restraint brother 🙏 ....I say this as someone who feels games are seldom hard enough and dream of higher difficulties (in life too, it seems😐). Holding back from those upgrades will be a good test of my discipline 😒 Refreshing actually, now that I think about it, everyone else is telling me about exploits and cheats - but I'm at home among those that look at most games like they're expensive QTE simulators 😎
I couldn't agree more about the immersion factor ramping up when you choose to walk it, especially with a game that looks like this. I recently wrapped up Saints Row IV and that game presented me with being able to literally fly/zoom across the map......or take a drive, or scope out a chopper and *yoink* it 🤔 I don't like game design that leaves me the option to be lazy 🤣
Great video, concerning classes I'd like to add something from my playstyle: I usually only run Panther on immersive/difficult runs, since the class technique is a total life saver and offers an ability to simulate smoke grenades which we currently lack in the game. The passive buffs are very helpful too (especially when you limit your use of silencers to pistols and smgs only) and even the anti-drone detection spray has a dedicated side mission in-game (even though completely optional, one can limit himself to only use it after completing this quest, same with similar equipment like EMP grenades that also have "introductory" side missions) hence the gadget is still very much part of the games story and lore. All in all, I find it to be the most useful, immersive and "realistic"/believable class to choose. Highly recommend it, especially if playing solo :). If you're playing with a team of buddies, one panther, one sharpshooter/pathfinder, one engineer and one medic is probably the recommended way to go for immersion and tactical usefulness. Oh and since we're talking Pathfinder: as long as you wish to stay true to the games story (not roleplaying something else) it makes sense to only allow use of the drone after completing the "Icarus Blues" side mission (plus maybe some more quests like "hacking" a certain number of relay antennas), simulating how the Outcasts and Ghosts manage to take control of Sentinels Azrael drones. That keeps the immersion and plausibility of that "being lost behind enemy lines, trying to survive and build up a resistence" feel and story. Hope some find these recommendationa useful/interesting. :)
Thank and thanks for the ideas! Pretty much the same way I like to think about the Pathfinder class. I'll have to give Panther a try too, I never bothered too but I do like the smoke screen thing, wish it was a grenade instead though.
I'm currently grinding to get to lvl 99, just hit 98. I've completed all missions and DLCs. I was wondering what I can do to keep the game interesting and fun after I reach 99. This video has answered that question. Thank you.

I bought the game yesterday I didn't expect it's very good especially shooting and stealth mechanics, there is some bugs but ones you play a game its not that important . Definitely better than wild lands in term of controlling ur character
@@rossmangaming8540 it would’ve been interesting to see how the game would’ve been perceived if the game had launched with the ghost settings and the more hardcore settings. I reckon the game would’ve been way more well perceived. And a smooth launch would help too.
@@ogrimzyz8643 Yea I agree, it's clear that the Lead Devs had a completely different vision compared to what some of the actual designers and players of the game wanted. Thankfully Ubisoft seems to have pulled off their desire to make it a looter shooter and has brought the game back very nicely. It's a shame it launched the way it did but thankfully it didn't take long for them to rectify it, considering how much work they've done to improve it.
Great video. One thing I did for my 2nd play through long ago was not take the abilities for NVG and thermals. I still activated these for my drone tho. The not selecting crafting is something I will need to try out.
wish they just went all in and added thirst/hunger/temperature. Just make a proper survival game please ubisoft, it would fit so well into farcry/ghost recon/division.

Ive had the game since christmas but have had alot of trouble trying to get into it i really want a survivor experienced living iff the land type of play thru with a good story but have been having difficulty balancing it out. @RossManGaming Is this game worth playing now? played with a buddy when it first came out. Tried the ultra hardcore no hud vibe but the bugs and flaws in gameplay quickly ended the enthusiasm. Has the DLC or recent patches / updates made this game a good experience?
Thanks man, I do a mix of things but typically the daily faction missions. Now with Conquest mode though I'll likely spend time traveling around in that as it's much more populated! :)
I just can’t stand how much you are in the menus in this game. Especially for crafting and switching gear. They could have had it that your character swings their backpack to craft with an animation. I also think you shouldn’t be able to switch outfits and gear on the fly and these outfits and gear should matter at least in the sense of weather and broad requirements for camo. The loadouts should be restricted to vehicles you roll out with from the bivouac, this way you reduce the amount of time in the menus and makes you value vehicles more. That brings another issue I have where gear is purely cosmetic. I hate that you just pull gear out your ass , like the rocket launcher. That should honestly be a secondary weapon. Every gear piece should be visually represented on your vest/belt. I should not be able to use NVGs if I don’t have them equipped. The amount of gear should play into stamina consumption and risk of injury. Stuff like this is what we wanted from this game. Why else would they call it breakpoint and market this lone survivor kind of theme. They basically lied.
