No the aux is not stereo. That is why you need to use two of them to get the stereo sound. So it is important that you only turn up one of the fader on one of the aux and then the other one on the other aux. Then you will end up with a stereo mix in your in ear...

I have several questions which I feel would be helpful for all viewers: 1./ what devices do you use for in ear monitoring? 2./ Obviously your band members use two in ear plugs (for stereo)...doesn’t this minimise/hamper their hearing? Surely one ear plug is normal? 3./ Why do they need to have stereo monitoring? Surely mono is ok? 4./ if a band is happy with single ear plugs and mono monitoring then it should be easy to create 6 feeds simply using the aux outputs? (Eg: 4 band members and two stage monitors?)

Palitha Wanigasekara nice to hear that you like the video. We are using this mixer in our live and rehearsal rig and it works great. My other bandmates really love this set up. Let me know what you think of it if you get one...

Hi. sorry for my stupid question but you have demonstrated how to set up for guitar and drum (so only 2). Can you do the same for all aux tracks ie guitar, bass. vocals and drums? like everything not just two?? cheers in advance. great vids by the way. may very well go down this route

Hi Max i am just building an IEM rig like yours for our band (great Video by the way) . I am using the M18 already but just been trying the headphone output for a stereo mix for myself but finding there is a lot of noise coming out of the output even with a pair of headphones plugged in. Is this something you have found on you unit? I am just trying to work out if mine might have a faulty output. Thanks :)

Great idea! Do you really need to use stereo on your inear monitoring? I do it quite the same way you described, but only using mono, because I need 7 musicians and one for the athmo microphone - so I can't "waste" a channel for stereo.
@PsyckadeliTV
@PsyckadeliTV Год назад
It is just me. I hate to hear music in mono. I go idiot after a while. But you can do it that way. But I guess you need to pan out everything then if that is possible. I am not sure if you can get 8 individual mono tracks from 4 stereo tracks. But try it...

are the Jack Aux output mono or can we put a stereo cable to have a stereo output ?

Hi , I am kind of interested to buy rcf m18 .i just wanna know 1 thing . Is it those 6 auxout are sterio? Can it be used direct to ear phones as in ear monitors ( with out buying any extra headphone amp unit ) And another question there is a Ethernet port can we control this with pc software ? ( are you working on it ?)
@PsyckadeliTV
@PsyckadeliTV 6 лет назад
Hi. No the Aux is not in stereo. I don't think any Aux sends is in stereo. You can use them without a headphone amp. I guess if you buy a two male mono to one stereo female. I don't know anything about Ethernet port. I do not work for the company that sells these mixers...

Thanks for your really great Videos, the help a lot to understand. We are a band with 9 Members. So my question is: Do we need now 9 Auxes to give any Member his own InEar-Mix or is there another way to solve that problem? Thank you again for your great videos an best wishes from Germany
@PsyckadeliTV
@PsyckadeliTV 5 лет назад
Foeni Hachenburg if you are nine members maybe some can share one mix. So you will have four seperate mixes but two or three people will listen to the same mix...
@PsyckadeliTV
@PsyckadeliTV 5 лет назад
Foeni Hachenburg very nice to hear that you like the video. In my band we are using the six aux in stereo so three stereo mixes. But you can get up to six mono mixes. You can get one stereo mix from the headphones out. But I dont think you can split the headphones out so that it will be two mono mixes...
@thefabulousboozebrothers579

Thank you so much for your effort to answer me so quickly. Yes, that’s maybe the only way to solve the problem. But what do you think about the Idea to use the several behringer Powerplays P16- m with the powerplay M 16 I ? Have a great day. Thomas

@PsyckadeliTV 5 лет назад
Foeni Hachenburg sorry but I don`t know anything about the other units...
@PsyckadeliTV
@PsyckadeliTV 5 лет назад
Foeni Hachenburg I forgot one thing. If you are using the unit only for inear. Then you can also use the main outputs as an aux output. Then you will have 8 mono out and one stereo out (headphone out). So then you will get 9 outs to your band...

Hey! old post but ill comment anyway! :) Is it possible to get the effect sends to the aux bus? I tried this mixer yesterday but did not get any effects to the aux busses. Is it only routing effects to the master output? :o

How are you making it so ALL members have their own mix, if you’re using all 6 AUX outs for different channels? Where are all the band members actually plugging their iems into?
@PsyckadeliTV
@PsyckadeliTV 4 года назад
chris hapgood if you are just using this for IEMs then five people can have there own stereo mixes...

Do you happen to know how to get the reverb and delay in the Aux mixes? I have been finding they only seem to work on the main output.

I had the same problem and I solved it but I can't remember how I did it. I think I got in contact with RCF and they told me how to do it. So you can do it if I remember correct...

In the mix remote app, you have fx1/2/3 returns in the aux mixes (3 last cursors)

On the behringer mixers, there is a way to link 2 aux channels to create a stereo send and then you can pan each track as needed. Is that possible for this as far as you know?
@PsyckadeliTV
@PsyckadeliTV 5 лет назад
Skyler Michael that would have been great but I don`t think you can do that on this mixer...
@skylermichael641

Thank you for your quick response. Another question I have is, can you use the headphone out separate from all 6 aux sends? For a total of 6 mono and 1 stereo out? I would ideally like my drummer to use the headphone out since he will not have a wireless transmitter and I would like the other 6 aux sends for various band members on stage. Thanks for the info, I just bought one of these and am waiting for it in the mail!
@PsyckadeliTV
@PsyckadeliTV 5 лет назад
Skyler Michael yes it`s just like you write. I am using the phones out even if I am a guitar player. But because I do all the work in the band I was worth it 😜

Is there latency specifically when using the phone app for in ears?
@kastudioHU
@kastudioHU 4 года назад
There is no latency. However, the app is only for controlling the mixer. You cannot feed the signal back to the phone app - or if you can with some trick, there will be obvious delay in the signal (as you are connecting via 2,4 Ghz Wifi).

Nice vid! I just dont really understand how to assign an aux bus to the headpones out. Do you have any idea?
@PsyckadeliTV
@PsyckadeliTV 6 лет назад
Marco Starink Why would you want to send an aux bus to the headphones. You can make a personal mix that uses the the phones out...
@PsyckadeliTV
@PsyckadeliTV 6 лет назад
Marco Starink Very nice to hear that you like the video. If you go to settings then output. There you can set the phones to personal mix. Thne go to the Phones tab and set everything there...
@MarcoStarink
@MarcoStarink 6 лет назад
Thanks for your answer! Well i thought that i needed to internally route an aux bus to the headphones out. So if i set 'Headphones' to 'Personal Mix' how do i affect set the volume levels on my mix without affecting the main volumes?
@PsyckadeliTV
@PsyckadeliTV 6 лет назад
Marco Starink you use the tab on the top that says Headphone. All the settings that yo make there just goes to the headphone jack...

i have a question Max, are the aux sends stereo?
@kastudioHU
@kastudioHU 4 года назад
Mono only. You have two options: A) Using a separate cable for the left and the right channels too. B) Buy a cable with 2 mono jack on one end and 1 stereo jack on the other
