In Focus: Financial inclusion in Africa 

Financial inclusion is one of the main building blocks of inclusive growth. It implies that individuals and businesses have access to useful and affordable financial products and services that meet their needs, such as transactions, payments, savings, credit and insurance.
In Africa, financial inclusion has increased rapidly in recent years owing to the growth of digital financial services. However, there are portions of the population that have been historically excluded. How can Africa ensure that appropriate instruments are put in place to deliver financial services to the excluded?
