In Game Ninja Tracks - Light City Run & Inferno IV - Trials Fusion 

I like watching these type of videos because I can relate to the level of frustration. I have a couple of platinum's on the extreme tracks but the ninja's are the real challenge for me, and I can always learn a new technique or trick along the way. Also live commentaries with live reactions are unbeatable. And to be honest if I watch someone that zero faults everything it gets boring, so thats why I enjoy them.

Reasons why I watch your videos: your voice is oddly calming to me(not yelling like those other youtube game videos helps) and your instructional vids helped me platinum all the base tracks and just improve my trials skills where I can plat other extreme tracks without help

I understand that this is 5 years old but seeing you struggle on the ninja version reminds me of when i finally beat the normal inferno IV, with 480 faults and less than 2 minutes on the clock

The trials player in me feels your pain and wants you to succeed, but there's that twinge of satisfaction seeing that even the great Shady has seen the "too many faults" like I have so many times over the years :p. Great content as always!

It’s nice to see a relatable struggle at a hard track to remind you that everyone finds it hard to start with. That’s why I think most people want to see this

I like these types of videos because it shows me that even though you're much better than I am you aren't the best at this game. It makes the tracks a little less intimidating

I'm almost at level 4 ninja track level, so I know my way around the game and very competent at front and back wheel, but I do watch your ninja runs. Don't really know why. Even though you struggle it's still good to watch someone run through a ninja track. Oh and Shady, once you get the fw/bw balancing down it'll open up a whole new library of tracks for you. Stationaries are so helpful too, but those took me a week to learn. Keep up the good work.

I like these videos because I can relate to your struggles. When I first started watching your stuff, I had just barely passed Inferno IV, thanks to your tutorial. Now the only track I haven't gotten platinum on is Way of the Machine. I still can't do these ninja things though. I've done at most ninja 2 or an easy 3. They're hella fun, but some are just beyond teaching, it seems. But it's nice to know that even the wise trials guru has trouble with the hardest ninja track (in the base game).

So I bought trials deluxe on the pc and a xbox one controller just to play it, and honestly I did it after finding your channel. It's satisfying and fun to play, and I like watching long videos that don't feature insane screams and "reactions" from YT dude bros. Just a good ol' walkthrough.

The reason I watch your videos is because you are a great teacher. The mark of a good teacher is to be able to explain very complex ideas very simply, and that is what you do. I hadn't played trials before Fusion, and I went from struggling for golds on mediums, to getting platinum on all except the last few Master Gauntlets, within about a month thanks to your videos. I watch videos like this one here because I get to watch the techniques you use in response to certain obstacles, and even though you're not describing every move you make, I still learn heaps. Also, its pretty damn cool that you're a fellow Sydneysider!

I like watching your videos purely because you're entertaining to watch. Just have a pleasant voice I could listen to for hours

Shady that was awesome, waking up and watching this to my morning coffee. The reason I think people like this is cause you are very good, but not inhumanly good. And you have a calm (most of the time) and analytical sharp way to solve obstacles that is very enjoyable. The only general tip that I can give with my limited skill level is that perhaps you should get up on your front wheel more before attempting very high obstacles where you really need lots of power, for example in the Light city run where you had to do that "perfect" bunny hop. Thanks for doing this, and would love that you keep doing stuff that is borderline to your limits.

Great video, more please. It's exciting to how you struggle with the obstacle, and then finally find the right way to do it. Ninjas allways have a high level of tension. I'm not allways reaching the finish line, but it's allways worth the try. Slowly but surely I'm getting better.

I enjoy watching these videos because they're the most challenging tracks in the game and I will never be able to see them myself. Also I like to watch you struggle because I struggle through every extreme track and I get jealous watching you do them as easily as I do a medium track.

I tried the Inferno IV ninja today and lets just say it didn't go so well. I managed to get to the third checkpoint with only 3 faults, i then went on to hit the fault limit on that very same checkpoint. I had the technique down but couldn't quite get my back wheel down onto the big wheel. Good attempt by the way.

Something something criticism. Idk, I love ninjas tracks. But I'd say I like to watch people do what they like. It's typically more enjoyable to watch in my opinion. But I like it either way really.

Yea the skill these guys have is insane! On PS4 it's 5 Faults in 2:55! Blows my mind watching their replays! Good try at the track.

There's plenty of stuff online the 11 year olds have already seen and heard. Don't think a little cursing will traumatize them. Don't need to worry about that.

I really enjoy these videos! I think it's cos after I've seen you've struggle through I think "Yeah I guess I can do that", and often give it a try, knowing if I get stuck I can see how you did it. And on that note wheres frost bite ninja :P?

I like these videos because it shows you don't just go to an obstacle, try it twice and know how to do it. You need to practice and put in the work, the same as everyone else. My skill level is much lower than yours (have only completed inferno 4 twice!) that's why I also love your tutorials.

Love this video Shady :D I timed out on inferno IV ninja aswell... still not at that level. I do suggest you play FrostBite ninja though, I am pretty sure you can pass it, I managed to pass it aswell and I think we are about the same level skillwise. Should be great fun :D

watching you play through and struGale through gives me hope i can pass it though i cant do any Extreme maps except the first one (Covert Ops?)

just to point out, but....on the replay he wasn't just trying to get the angle right on the 3rd checkpoint, he was also intentionally hitting the big wheel upwards so that it was spinning clockwise, so that it would help his grip

Nice work. I watch this coz like you said in the vid, you are really good but not in the crazy impossible good league, so gives us normal people hope! Lol On a side note... I didn't event notice at first you'd cut parts of the inferno run & was like wotcha mean only 13 faults left!you've had a great run.... Then I looked up and it clicked lol

Moar ninjas! Sad, ive been playing alot of ninjas over the past few months but shady waltzes right in and gets farther than me on inferno (i gave up on the 3rd obstacle). I actually really dont like the redlynx ninjas. When track creators design tracks well beyond their skill level they feel alot more random, probably because its impossible to test for consistency on obstacles you arent good enough to pass consistently. Thats the vibe I get from the redlynx tracks. I typically find the best ninja tracks are created by the best ninja riders, especially for learning purposes. As the obstacles are designed in a way where you have to hit them optimally in order to pass them, rather than using trial and error trying to figure out whatever random weird method the track creator used to get over the obstacle after his 100th attempt. Anyhow MOAR NINJAS!
