Too relatable. My husky also waits for me to crumble a treat on top. She'll often skip breakfast if I don't. No screaming, just staring, sulking, and occasionally heaving impressively dramatic sighs.
Our huskies want shredded cheese on top. Don't I dare to forget! Since it's so much fun to watch their protest I like to forget. 😊 One will yell out his protest, very loud. The other will be pouting and give me those disappointed looks. We've had huskies for over 20 years now and we really love it. Our last rescue boy was really in bad shape and didn't want to trust people, only his two new brothers. Now we can't get rid of his constant expression of love. It's like he's physically attached to our hips. It's beautiful.
Is it breakfast at 4:30 before you go to work? Or is it breakfast at 3am (or whenever you get home) before you go to bed? Or are both of those breakfast, and now every meal is breakfast?
@@sensen7216 I eat dinner at 2am on my night shifts, ain't nobody gonna tell me that's supper or anything else when I'm eating a full-on course of meat, potatoes or whatever and a salad 🧍🏻♀️
What's so sweet about it is that it seems to be much more about the gesture than the pork burger itself. She had it right in front of her nose and her nostrils didn't even twitch. She just wants you to make her breakfast "with love".
@@Leith_Crowtherlooks like it out of context though. I think I have taught my dogs more non-verbal commands accidentally than purposefully taught verbal ones. Body language is telepathy when you know who you are talking to.
Watching other husky owners tell about their husky stories never get old. It's incredible that everyone have a different experience but they have the same habits.
I have a cat that behaves the same way, but with Dreamies (Temptations). He also has to see me crumble them on, otherwise they are not there. He also has to have his morning cuddle before he will eat. I believe huskies are just cats in disguise. 😂
People always see how cute huskies are without actually understanding how much work they are and adopt them without being able to properly care for them. I remember going to a shelter and most of the dogs were huskies/Husky mixes.
My Rottweilers were like that. Although they don't howl like Huskies, they were just as stubborn. And when a 130lb beast decides to lean into the back of your knees until they get their way, your options are A: get knocked to the ground, or B: just admit defeat and do what they want Jasmine and Shadow were such good girls. It's not fair that dogs' time with us is so damn short
Sorry for your less. I knew a dog that ended up in a newspaper for toppling an old lady by leaning into her (it was a rather big dog that just liked to lean into people).
Have you ever been awakened in the dead of night by a Chihuahua staring at you? He wants you to escort him to his pee pad. Is he afraid of the dark? No. Does he do this every time? No. Is his eyesight failing? Nope. He's a Chihuahua. He's just messin' with me! 🙄 I love him so much 😂
I have 2 chihuahua mixes. They will get up next to my ear in the middle of the night and go “rrrrr” very softly so they don’t wake my husband, only me. Because I am the gullible one that will get up to indulge their whims. 😅
I have a Bichon Frise and I have to give him his treats in the appropriate room! Heaven help me if I inadvertently give the wrong treat in the wrong room.
Aw my parents have a Bichon! I am her "sister" 😅she waits for me in the picture wondow when my mom tells her "Sissy is coming to visit!" 😅 all day if necessary! And when I come inside I HAVE to sit on the couch with her and say hello and do movies and chat and all the things before I can do anything else... it's a long drive, I'm not allowed to pee b4 lovies, nor can I put whatever food or human treaties I'm bringing in to the kitchen, or anything else!!! Must love and chat with the pup 1st! 😅 If I really have to pee I have 2 find a bathroom b4 I get there!!! 😂 She's the best sister I ever had!!!!❤
I had always wanted a Husky from a very young age after a movie l watched. But the German shepherd fell into my lap quite by accident and it was the most beautiful thing that could ever have happened to me. People do have breeds that they stick to and are passionate about and for me it was definitely the German shepherd. I prefer the large breed of dogs..
Yeah, I've always loved Great Danes and Rottweilers. Then I found a shar pei mix at the shelter (who is also the calmest and quietest husky mix you've ever seen) and I'm in love with this breed!
@elfdragon1227 my recently passed boy was a very challenging puppy and a handful but he turned into the most wonderful boy. A true mommy's boy. Lost him four weeks ago to end stage heart failure. My life has totally changed. His departure has made my once very independent female extremely clingy.. I'm so glad lve got her..
@@sameerazenib9678 Aw, your poor girl! Animals really can grieve. My girl, while being an excellent balance of shar pei and husky, is as stubborn as both breeds, so it's certainly interesting! It takes so long to wrap up walks.
@elfdragon1227 my female is extremely stubborn too. She can't play me but she certainly tries it with everyone else and dictates her walks lol.. She'll put the brakes on and it's like you're walking someone else's dog and not your own. I'm the only one she will listen too
I don't think anyone actually says this because it's common sense that our pets and animals in general can communicate with us. They don't need to speak or understand our language in order to do so.
@@Rutabega_NGThere’s even people that think they don’t have personalities 😂 As if they’re robots built to listen to our commands exactly with no fuss and are devoid of any feelings or emotions.
My favourite thing about living with a husky is how incredibly clever my girl is at communicating specifically what she wants. My least favourite thing is having to say no, when what she wants isn't possible.
I love her! Huskies are just so smart, and aren’t food motivated for training generally. My girl is a lab retriever and she talks almost as much as a husky does when she wants something. She does well when I’m training her inside, outside it’s crazy time lol! Your dogs are so awesome!
I’m so glad you post over here, even if you might not have as big a following. Especially because I’ve limited my social media use to RU-vid. These fur babies (and your narration) always give a good laugh and definitely bring sunshine on the rainiest of days. Hope to keep seeing more of them, and may they have many, many good years of health and a joyous life!
My husky is very picky too I have to cook for her she won’t eat dog food well sometimes she’ll eat a few freeze dried pieces but I swear it comforts her knowing I cook for her they are very special things have to be a certain way for them or forget it I feel your pain but I also absolutely love the breed❤❤❤
I loved my husky. She was exactly the same. Once she KNEW certain things, she came to expect them constantly. They very intelligent animals. We had her for 16 glorious years.
My cat Cupid has similar flairs. I serve him oats with liver and he would be beyond hungry but won't eat until I let him follow me into the kitchen and show him that I'm picking a piece of liver and adding it to the food. 9 out of 10 times I don't even add anything, he just needs to see it 😂
Just to clarify, you aren’t feeding him like oats oats as in the grain? If so the reason he is asking for liver is because cats are obligate carnivores. Their bodies don’t produce taurine which is an essential amino acid. They can only get taurine from eating meat. So if your cat isn’t being fed meat (or a specially formulated food with added taurine) each day he’s gonna get sick. Hope I don’t come off as rude here I’m just concerned for your cat. I’ve seen people try to put cats on a vegan diet and they just pass away so quickly.
@@mostlyghostey I appreciate your concern, I understand some people can be truly clueless. Don't worry, I feed my cat liver AND oats mixed together, never just oats. It's his favorite right after chicken and either cases, it's cooked in the broth. It was recommended to me by my vet after my cat had long issues with his bowel movements.
“Don’t get a husky.” Or a cat. My geriatric cat does the same thing. 4 times a day I have to stand there so he can eat. Otherwise he will yowl… endlessly.
Or two snow dogs and two huskycats (Siamese). You haven't heard true cacophony until your Malamutes are harmonising in baritone to your Siamese hitting the soprano. When they started singing the same melodies, it was terrifying. It's like they've allied.
I love huskies! They’re just like my children. Like my two legged real children attitude and all. I got one had to get a second. Six years later had to have a third. I’m at my limit, but they’re just the best dogs ever. I love all the sass and attitude.
That is the loudest quietest bark you can imagine. What some of you either fail to realize, pretend to not know, pretend to think is cute, or pretend to not know is that women communicate in loud silence at least half of the day.
All you've done is given me more reasons to own a husky. I've had one before, and their very unique individual quirks are part of why I love them. Other is they fluffy as hell.
I have a husky German shepherd and it's 2 of my favorite dogs mixed into 1. Happy when I sleep she always gaurds my back and the door. And she listens well can be trusted with no leash listens to commands. But also when I come home with groceries she'll go thrunall the bags to find the pet foods for her very nosey lol. She acts like both dogs at times. Mostly husky like her mom.
I wondered if my precious dearly departed dog was part husky. Now I know she was. She was quietly very insistent about certain things. She was so much fun and I miss her so much.❤
This is such a fun movie. I absolutely love it. Glad you enjoyed it too. I also thought the doctor was brought in to function as their medic initially on my first watch, but once they lingered on him with the poisonous plant, I was like nah he’s probably a physco killer. And he was.
My parents got a husky when I was in middle school and ended up having to give her to someone who could train her or had more time to train her. She was a fantastic dog but was too high energy for my parents. Husky owners are fantastic
i remember i had a husky and when we gave her her food if she only liked the red pieces that was in the food we usually bought we would dig in her food just for the red ones gotta love a husky
