@@haveaniceday5693 meh, I can't agree with TD Jakes, I actually visited his church when I lived in Dallas and it was actually a good church, especially since I was a marshmallow in a sea of chocolate, they treated me really good
You can't debate with another person over their opinion anyways, you can't speak for everyone else because what might be funny to you may not be funny to someone else, you have your opinion an they have theirs what's to debate .
Agreed! Not to mention most American churches, pastors and their congregations. There is little difference between todays “seeker friendly” churches, pastors and congregates and the people they claim NOT to be, aka. The unsaved and lost!! It amazes me how God calls believers and followers in Christ to be set apart and sanctified yet many of those very same people are trying so hard to live like the unsaved and the world🤦🤦
@@TheHomeProjectsYeti Wow you made it even more cringy by both your claim that it's the truth and not knowing what cringe is. But uncomfortable is a close guess, in a classic "drunk uncle saying saying crazy stuff at a party" kind of way. I don't know if you're anti-SJW or kind of racist, maybe both, doesn't matter which really, you have hate making you angry at all the talk of black people in movies, even though it has had no effect on your viewing experience, unless you are a racist of course, and yeat you still claim it's "the truth" all leads can't be white now, even as a hyperbole it's too far fetched and hateful. I'd rather listen to 10 SJW going overboard with inclusivity, than 1 anti-SJW or racist making going overboard with how bad the over correction is or will be, as it is always presented "the truth" kind of way and since you're going overboard about opposite, it sounds hateful, like you either don't want more inclusivity or you don't care and just want to hear less about it. I hope most of you are in the latter category, at least you won't be against it, but if you are, take it down a notch, it's not going to be as bad as you picture it, the SJW going overboard don't usually get their way and eventually the subject will die out as more inclusivity progresses and becomes normal, thus no longer an issue.
Yes...at 3:36 look at Damon Wayans crack a smile, You just know JIMMY improvised jumping out of that chair and Damon wasn;t ready for it. True masters of the art.
Good spot! He also does it to Mathew Broderick in Cable guy. The scene where he is putting chicken skin on his face at Medieval Times and says “Hello Clarice, it’s nice to see you again” They cut to a different shot quickly but you can see Broderick genuinely laughing at Jim. Brilliant.
@@ilovebeingtheultimatebrony6685 it's possible, Rock was in 6 episodes but I couldn't find a list to see if that's him in this one. Considering its a background non talking actor I doubt it. He left SNL for In Living Color, don't think he would for a tiny bit, but it's possible
@@enterthebruce91 These days nearly church is broadcasting and recording themselves and they put on what is essentially a show for the public so quite the farce.
@@BornOfAsh he’s right! Jim Carey was the biggest movie star at one point. Literally everyone knows who he is and he is in my fav comedy of all time, dumb and dumber. Lose my number too please
"For those who wear fig leaves, uhhh...should not dance with hungry goats"...."Amen!" Carrey's opening line is underrated improv gold. It's so early in the skit that I never even noticed it. Absolutely hilarious.
High school was a very dark experience for me, but every Sunday evening as my anxiety peaked with five days of it ahead, In Living Color was there to make me laugh like crazy and forget my troubles for a bit. It has aged like wine.
You know, I think I understand how you felt all too well. Shows like this were good for their escapism from reality. Everything modern just beats reality into people, and there doesn't seem to be the escape like there once was with shows like this. I hope you are doing better and life post high school has been good to you.
@@ibitoyeayodeji5005 Life is much better now, thank you. I was "born grown up", and it made childhood and especially my teens very difficult. Now I'm thriving. Throughout my 20's older people kept saying "I wish I had thought like you when I was your age" because I was always making the mature decisions, and today my 40's are great.
Married with children was one of my favorites to ive seen all the returns 50 tomes reach and it was funnier the later years more than the early years when jeffreson replaced Steve it was even better
I've never seen this skit before, I am crying! "The Lord will extend his forgiveness...but he ain't gonna do it for free!.......Cough it up" "You don't like to go low, but You will if You have to!" Damon was dying nearly as much as I am!
Yes to paraphrase all they're saying you have to get your hands dirty in the pleasures of sin befor you are able to condemn it and wash it all off.. I guess some stains of sin just never wash off. They'll always be in back of your mind the missing of these desires
"The Tag Team Evangelists" as always bring the funny, to the seriously touchy subject of religion. When Carey channels Jimmy Swaggart I can't stop laughing.
I like how the strippers and escorts were expenditures and not expenses. Expenses are short term cost incurred by a company whereas expenditures are long term costs for the company's operation.
How have we gone all these years without a jim and damon team up movie? I think we would die from laughter. In this skit it is Damom that brings the crux of the laughs but Jim flying wingman just sells this. Also this is one of my favorite clips from the show
Facts. I read somewhere that Keenan said that they won't be able to relaunch In Living Color b/c the talent simply isn't there. He's right too. I've never seen a comedian today that can match the talent of the Wayans Brothers, David Allen Grier, Jamie Foxx or Jim Carrey.
@@-live8659 I always wondered why Kelly Coffield didn't take off after this show. She was extraordinary. Maybe she chose another path but I would have loved to see her in more movies or shows
The political religious commentary that this sketch displays, is so awesome. Hustlers will hustle. Be they under the cloak of the cloth or the assumed honesty of elected officials.
