I just found your channel, and i have got to say that i loooove you and your ceramics!! Ive been doing ceramics since February and have been experimenting with underglaze and i am wondering what glazes you use?
As always a joy to watch. How come your vlogs always make me smile and lift my mood even though I am quite content? One day I can afford shipping to Germany and then one piece of your creations is mine.
Thank you so much for filming all the market prep, it’s so cool to see how you get organised for this type of event, and also love to see where you can get inspirations for your work ☺️ This collection is so pretty (as always!), specially your museum theme, I live it so much ! Can’t wait to see what’s on your mind ✨
@@kimilynicole honestly I just cut up scraps of fabric that I thrifted (I think they were maybe pillowcases?) and taped them down with painters tape! I do believe they were cotton :-)
@@fromtreetosea I used to stay away from underglazes but have found myself loving them lately, what kind of sanding pads do you use on them? I’ve seen there are a few different brands and plenty if grits to choose from. It’s always a good day when I see you’ve posted a new video! ☺️
If you still haven't found a picnic table, big hardware stores like Home Depot and Lowes usually make picnic tables on site and are super cheap! We got ours for like $125 that way!
can i ask a question about your beautiful tiger mugs - i see the inside is white glaze .... and then on the outside is it just left natural .... not glazed ? im new to pottery and just wondering if you can do that ?
Hey Lauren! Question for you - wondering what you do with your coloured clay trimmings? Do you reclaim or is that hard because you layer and mix a lot of colours?
I try to keep same colours together when trimming (I re-use small plastic food containers to keep them separate) so that I can reclaim them individually after! :-) there are sections where that doesn’t work and in that case I’ve been saving them to reclaim all together for a surprise colour ahha!
