Really enjoyed this talk. I'm not a movie aficionado ( not even close ) and I always wondered about how I see things only literally! I've never been exposed to this kind of understanding of movie roles and people and I'm most grateful for your clear, to the point expose of themes like this. Thank you. Gwendoline definitely looks amazing as larissa weems. I really hope that in season two larissa weems will be alive somehow. I mean gwendoline looks so beautiful there that it would be a huge loss for the series to make her character's death a full stop. plus her death in season 1 was really not needed. okay I just hope to see Gwen more in such roles, cuz she looks so fcking amazing with this style that I simply have no words. I'm in love literally ^_^

I completely agree! I have a theory that they will go on to treat the role as cursed a-la defense against the dark arts professorship at Hogwarts, which would mean every season we'll get a different celebrity principal. It would definitely be a great opportunity for an Angelica Houston cameo (!!!!) but I'd be just as happy with Weems coming back. She really adds so much to the show. 🤞

There’s no reason both can’t be true. I wouldn’t be surprised if “Lurch” at the end is actually Weems (different eye colour?) or at the very least, she’s the one who texts Wednesday at the end saying “I’m always watching” SHES THE ONLY CHARACTER WHO KEPT REPEATING/PARAPHRASING THIS LINE THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE SHOW so maybe she is in hiding??? So she can’t be principal anymore therefore we still get a new principal.

OMG YEEESSSSSS!!!! i just watched Wednesday last week. and Gwendoline Christie just blew me away. SHE WAS ABSOLUTELY MESMERIZING here. ALSO, that is the first time I heard about a Lady Demetriscu? I LOVE this video! I’m on my 6th time watching the Wednesday series, simply to watch Gwendoline Christie be absolutely fantastic as Larissa Weems. I love her entire look from head to toe and even bought the exact lip color the makeup artist said she used on her. (I still don’t feel confident enough to wear such a bright bold color though lol). I really hope they find a way to bring her back for season 2 because she’s absolutely everything and I’d love for them to explore her shapeshifterness a little more. Cannot say enough how much I loved her in this role ❤

gwendoline christie means the world to me. not only i LOVE tall women, she is also just incredibly talented and beautiful and seems like such a delight. i really hope she gets to play more roles like larissa weems in the future and that all the tall women get to have some more feminine representation in the future.

I only watched that lowbrow series because of Larissa Weems, I did not really care that Addams girl: also Joy and Emma were so much better than the protagonist.
