Nurkic is putting up the same numbers here in Phoenix plus we Greyson Allen who is the #1 3 point shooter in the league, Phoenix got a hell of alot of value from the Ayton trade.

DA is such a bum. I live in Phoenix and I’m so glad that I don’t have any more conversations with my friends about this guy. His best season was when Paul first came to the suns. Paul was pushing him and coaching him constantly. He needs someone to push him hard.

Portland, I’m very sorry you have him now. Not a day goes by where I remember that my Phoenix Suns with their first ever first overall pick, chose Deandre Ayton instead of Luka Doncic. It’s a sting that will never stop stinging. The worst part is that I genuinely believe dude could be at least a top 10 center in the league but he just doesn’t give a fuck.

Agent 'toggled' the Pacers to set up that offer imo. Not even worth 1/3 of that. Made off like a bandit, oh yes he did Reath far more skilled and productive points per minute! Goes hard in the paint, not 'afraid' of bigs. Body bigs, dunks em off, spin, euro, quick step & finger roll, put it on the floor, 3 pointer.... in his bag. NO such talent in Aytons', plus 'bobblehead' frequently fumbles passes. Try to dribble it gets taken Bridges tired of watching the trash show, from the Suns bench. Bounced over to Brooklns. 25 points per game With the kitchen sink thrown at Ayton, & being bottle-fed, he couldn't average close to what Bridges did without 'pampering'.

It’s sad to read and hear about how delusional Ayton has become about his capabilities. He has so much potential if accepted constructive criticism and begins crafting his weaknesses into strength. If Monty or Chauncey can’t reach him, he might be a lost cause which is a tragedy for him and all who supported him along his journey. I hope people who come after him will learn from his mistakes.

To be fair, Portland is not utilizing Ayton very well from the jump. Billups is not running enough plays for him and the guards are not setting him up well either.

Ayton is still a better defender, real talk. Nurk has more heart and tries harder but Ayton can guard athletic centers and big guys too. I just don’t get Ayton has a blind spot for himself. When he got to Portland he said he was Dominayton. Lol
