Tuning: Standard Tuning - but will need to adjust your tuner. The intro is very sharp at 448Hz... then the clean part is 443Hz (must have been recorded at a different time with a different tuner!) and then back to 448Hz for the outro. .

Question: during the main riff, how did you get the higher harmony guitar part to sound so much like the studio track? I swear that Gilmour uses humbucking pickups on the secondary harmony part, because whenever I play that part on strats, it always sounds really twangy and less smooth.

It’s possible. He did use his Les Paul for Another Brick in the Wall Pt.2 so he was using one when recording the album.

I know David Gilmour often used a phaser effect if that's the main thing you are looking for, but other than that it should be a small amount of delay and reverb.

two different types of standard tunning? I didn't know!

It's not really a different type of standard tuning. They just happened to tune with A at a different frequency than 440 Hz. In reality, they probably recorded it at standard tuning with A at 440 Hz and then sped the recording up which resulted in the pitch sounding slightly higher. It's a pretty common recording technique that used to be used a lot when a "single" version of a song was created. They'd speed it up a little bit so that it wouldn't take as much airtime and because it usually makes the song "pop" a bit more when we hear it.
