@@SamuelGracefell Redemption is a choice, at least to me it is. You may not be rewarded for it or even forgiven, but can you really say you didn’t do anything good.
The reverse can also be interesting. A fantasy of mine is to see an alternate universe version of Bullseye who uses his virtually perfect aim to save lives and help people and capture criminals.
Injustice Wonder Woman are Regime Superman's enabler, and Injustice!Superman killing Shazam was easily Supes' moral event horizon Also, if Batman's no-killing rules are strict enough, capital punishments can did the job of taking Joker's life Tim Burton: *make Batman killed Joker in 1989 Batman movie*
I really hate how Joker can't be killed, and then when he IS killed in this story, Superman gets blamed and turns bad. We already have in real life criminals who commit atrocious crimes, and are either given small bonds, released from prison etc...just to repeat the same atrocities all over again. The Justice team needs to realize that murder is not the same as killing. Murder is the unjust killing of an innocent person (usually done in a sadistic, brutal manner). A kill is justified death - usually ordained by law when all evidence proves that a person committed enough crimes to deserve death as punishment. Other kills can fall under self defense, but have to be proven. Joker should be dead, yet he can't be killed...and if he is killed, people still lose anyway. Where's the Punisher or Dead Pool when you need them? xD
This shit comes from comics writers having no balls to kill one of their most famous char + they want to make more money on Joker and other villains. Its very pathetic actually.
Tim Burton’s Batman had the Joker killed. In the final battle on Gotham’s Cathedral, the Joker tried to escape via helicopter. Batman fired his grappling gun at the Joker’s ankle to a gargoyle to prevent the Clown Prince of Crime from escaping. But it backfired when the gargoyle ripped from its place, adding weight on the Joker, thus plunging him to his death. Tim Burton’s adaptation of Batman is the first live action Batman movie where the Joker gets killed.
Honestly, it's hard to buy him as superman, the same man who in another universe depowered himself when he had to kill a being that could only be stopped through death. Also... we never get a good look at what made Diana a raging c word in this universe.... the Wonder Woman we know would have been a voice if reason ... maybe she'd agree with necessary killing (we've seen others have to stop her when enraged) but still, Diana and Klark are just way too out of character, even in context.
@@Errorvirus404 I'll look into it but it's still a flaw that the games have by not showing or telling. I stand by the they don't feel like the same characters... there are better ways to write both as villains believably.
Other villains I'd recommend would be Sgt. Tony Meserve from Casualties of War, Barney Cousins from The Vanishing, and oliver Lang from Arlington Road.
It’s almost similar to people who want to protect others by whatever means necessary and people who want to protect others, but not at the cost of losing their dignity.
15:50 I would say Injustice Superman is worse than Zod, Sinestro and Black Adam. At least they show a bit of care for their planets or countries they rule and try to protect them. Injustice Superman tried to destroy Metropolis, his own city, just because he saw that people didn't approve his methods. He can claim that he's trying to keep people safe, but in reality what he truly wants is to avoid criticism, the idea that he's making mistakes, keeping this delusion that he''s this "unbeatable hero who's always right". That''s why one of his first actions was to reveal himself as Clark Kent, ending his identity as a "flawed human".
If they did this right like if Superman only killed villains and didnt make him full on villain like killing Shazam this story would be a masterpiece making your choice at the end of injustice that more important to kill or not to kill I am of the belief villains like the joker must die so basically team Superman but they made him a dictator and kind of ruined the story basically good guy Batman beats bad guy superman
Injustice superman wasn’t wrong , I stand with him because he finally ended all petty human conflicts FOREVER 🤷🏾♂️✅. He used his full power , handled business & didn’t hold back anymore like he should have did LONG TIME AGO.
his turning point was killing shazam. If his character was just focused on having blood on his hands he would be perfect already, i hate it when superheroes become fence sitters and arent as proactive on keeping the world safe. Super heroes existing would change the whole world for better or for worse and i would say injustice and kingdom come masterfully showed it. However i hated when he fully went murderous, superman being ok with killing some of his enemies if needed and being more assertive is already a very radical change to his character it would have still had the same effect with the goal Dc wanted on wanting to change superman to fit mainstream audience they should have stayed with that.
@@jmgonzales7701 Shazam deserved it because he was a traitor who acted like he didn’t know what he signed up for 🤷🏾♂️. I don’t feel sorry for no man who joins a particular organisation knowing the depth of what it’s cape able of to back out when the going gets tough & switch sides because it’s to much for them to handle. Shazam isn’t a little boy anymore he’s grown enough to make a big decision like join the regime & stick with it but clearly he wasn’t in that series so he should have stayed on Batmans side originally & he still would have Been alive for the foreseeable future. Superman was the real victim here & the true hero of that storyline. 👏🏾
5 years had passed since the insurgents Joker and Luthor were killed Superman his darker self from the regime council got drugged by joker thinking he was fighting doomsday but killed Lois and his son caused him to rein chaos to terrorize innocent people as the good Superman stopped him from comitting suicide and sent to his prison.
I just want to point out that the Injustice timeline doesn't take place on Earth 1. Well, at least not to us, or anyone else in DC. It actually takes place on Earth 49, in the Multiverse.
You’re right, I phrased it wrongly, it was supposed to be the “One Earth Regime”, the name of Superman’s dictatorship. Not meant to have any bearing on which Earth it was in the multiverse. Good catch.
IMO Wonder Woman is the bigger villain in this series than Superman is. She’s far more comfortable killing anyone that slights her in the series including Batwoman and Harley Quinn even after she was doing her best to atone.
Both Batman and Superman are wrong nd right. Yes killing is bad, but it is a neccesary evil. Some inviduals can't be reason with such as The Joke. The problem is that both Superman and Batman are taking their belief too far. Superman is a trigger happy who will kill anyone over the slightly disagrement and treat others poorly. Batman is a proudful person who think he is entitled to dictant what others can and cannot do. Batman is also obsessive for the old days. The problem here is that both Batman and Superman are too prideful to admit they were wrong.
I don't know about everyone else, but I'm getting tired of the evil Superman trope. I'm willing to give Injustice and Justice Lord Superman some leeway because they're alternate realities, but when every version has a "going evil" story, it becomes tiring.
Cant believe i can just make up a dumb villain and as long as their popular and/or overpowered, theyll be looked at as a genius villain. Injustice superman, joker 2019 (aka arthur fleck but noone calls him that) and batman who laughs. You want a good character? Superman Red Son. Edit: you actually make videos on all kinds of great villains. I take it back. I thought you were like Evil Explained or whatever theyre called where its knly the most popular. Even then he did arlham joker which was an interesting choice. But you have even more intetesting choices. injustice superman is the only superman i like much for the same reasons i dont like another overpowered "hero' in goku just cant stand overly good and nice characters that are extremely overpowered they are totally unrelatable at the very least evil superman is entertaining to read/watch while normal superman is just plain boring lol
