In Their Names invites individuals from diverse regions, age, gender and ethnicity, to share with us how they have been shaped by their encounter with the history of the Holocaust.
Tali Nates is the Founder and Director of the
Johannesburg Holocaust & Genocide Centre and
Chair of the South African Holocaust and Genocide
Foundation. Ms. Nates has lectured internationally
on Holocaust education, genocide prevention,
reconciliation, and human rights. Ms. Nates was born to a family of Holocaust survivors.
Her father and uncle were saved by Oskar Schindler.
The series is produced by the Holocaust and the United Nations Outreach Programme.
