The guy at 1:56 seems like he's lived through this before. He knew how to perfectly dodge all cars, stood where it was safe, and warned Niko about watching out for incoming cars.
I really missed this when GTA 5 came out, such a letdown. But unfortunately we'll never see these physics in a game again. Development on the physics engine was halted a few years back due to high costs and low interest from developers.
The cut scene @ 5:32 is hilarious leaves Niko looking shook to the core and confused like he blinked the guy disappeared but he knows deep down what happened
10:50 “shit I almost forgot” immediately gets hit by a car traveling 200 mph Aghh. Shortly after all we see is Nikos car getting completely destroyed by cars flying through the air in silence along with a random pedestrian being flown into his car, that had me dying
1:20 I love how roman just gets evaporated mid sentence and the game tells you roman is dead without him completing the dialogue 😂 nicko flying out is pretty funny too
3:36 is perfect. Literally, because it's a "We're gonna make it! We're gonna make it!" And then another car comes out of nowhere, pushes you past the goal into oncoming traffic, and destroy's you car as swiftly and effectively as it destroyed your hopes and dreams.
I remember the suggestion that instead of a fixed sentence, courts should sentence somebody to life in jail unless they can beat a game or mission in a particular way. Obviously, to prevent criminals from getting out of jail early, they would only get to try one attempt per week for these kinds of missions and puzzles, or for rpgs and graphic adventure games, one hour per week. What crime would warrant beaing this mission in this traffic in your opinion?
The mission this would be a living hell for is Rigged To Blow. If the truck takes too much damage while you are driving to Petrovic’s garage, you know what happens.
I think my favourite thing about this is the maybe 30 seconds of relatively lucky misses and clean driving interrupted by absolute mayhem where the cars hit one after the other while you're already getting wrecked. Love it
The chaos😂🤣🤣 people screaming and running, getting obliterated left and right, explosions. And the yellow cabs just out and about doing their jobs faithfully😂🤣
Idk why? But this is one of the funniest things I've ever seen. I've been dying laughing and crying and my wife is looking at me like I'm a crazy person. Holy shit this was funny.
The very interesting thing imo his fall animation is the same as san andreas almost it's also in 4 but only in short falls he didnt ragdoll+ when he falled he didnt ragdoll eathier he feals out of this game
In GTAV I have the same mod, and the first mission, before you can even turn the corner to take one of the cars as Franklin, I failed becomes several cars crashed into and blew up the cars we were taking 😂
7:24 The comedic timing on this part is just perfect. Carefully going on the sidewalk to avoid traffic, and then a car in clear view superman's straight into you.
1:35 is another I personally love. In the background, there's a car that ricochets off a building, bounces off the bottom of a bridge, and then goes up in a fireball.
That NPC falling from the sky onto the door at 9:28 seriously took me out ngl hilarious video Edit: Seems like it's 9:25 now instead I know for a fact it was right at some point.
Dude I'm fucking crying because of the noise it made when he fell on the door and then explodes for no reason like he was a SpongeBob character. Dude I'm in tears 😂
If you take a closer look it’s the same guy who dodged the first car ,got hit by the second one to the left side of the screen. Then falls right in front of them
You know what triggers me the most? Even with this absurdity, the physic-engine never goes too crazy. The damage to the car still looks good. Damn this game was years ahead of its time... i love it
I'm not gonna do the whole "IV good, V bad" shit but I definitely will say that IV was seriously ahead of its time in terms of details, even for a game in the 2000s!
@@unlightings even now it's ahead. Mainstream games nowadays are the same as they were 10 years ago in terms of cool features that does not affect to core mechanics.
This one portrays mass panic so much better than GTA 5, the people yelling, you can feel the panic, chaos and fear in people on the public, this game felt more alive and the physics are also better.
Yeah, GTA V is pretty from afar but the moment you break it like this nothing feels as impactful. GTA IV? You break the game like this and genuinely feels like everyone is conscious and reacting to the absolute chaos going on, as if no one was prepared for this and break character.
