Also Jones likely would've still been available at 17th anyway, so the Giants could've snagged Josh Allen instead of picking Dexter Lawrence. I don't have anything against Daniel Jones, and there is a decent chance he eventually does well in the NFL. Still, the Giants made a bad logistical decision because of what they missed out on rather than what they selected.
