Hi, thanks. If you pause the video at 45 seconds in, the bottom left picture is what I see in my goggles. It's not a HD picture but it's still very good quality. The top left picture is being recorded on a gopro. The FPV camera and the Gopro are both mounted on a servo so I can look left and right both with my flying view and the gopro recording. The peanut camera is just mounted on the tail of the plane and recording, no live view from that 👍🏻

Thanks. Yes it is, but only for the VTX. Means I can plug the lipo in and let the GPS get a good lock with the vtx off, so it doesn't overheat. And yes.... I have launched without turning the vtx on before lol 🤣

I got it in late 2021 from banggood, they were selling them for £30 shipped to UK... a few people bought multiples, they're probably in boxes in people's sheds haha. I just took my time building mine. Thanks.

Not as far south as the New Forest, you can type the plus code into Google maps to see the location 👍🏻👍🏻

@@grim-upnorth If you leave it in WP Mode, does it just keep repeating the Mission?... IE, circuits?...🤔😳

@@EnglishTurbines it depends how you've set up the final waypoint. You can set it to RTH after the final waypoint or you can tell it to go to waypoint 1, at which point it will continuously repeat the mission.

Yes, there is a value you must change in the CLI - can't remember it right now - but it tells INAV to continue the mission if there's a failsafe. Of course, only do this if your mission will eventually bring you back to within range

I bought this from finwinghobby when I ordered the plane www.finwinghobby.com/category.php?id=24 However, the tilt servo is weak and the 3D printed part is a fairly poor design. So I got rid of the tilt servo and 3D parts and I'm just using the pan servo, which is strong and can turn almost 360 degrees. I designed my own gopro mount to attach to the pan servo, so I could have the DJI Air Unit camera on top.

@@grim-upnorth Cheers. I'm using the Propan on my Mini talon but I wish the Mark Q pan and tilt were a little easier to get my head around :) The propan is incredibly bulky for what it is

@@grim-upnorth Oh one more question, what canopy cover are you using in combination with that setup?

It is not difficult but there is a lot to consider. Much of the success is due to experience and background support, such as having the right tools, space and facilities to build such a project. With a lot of experience in rc planes electronics and radio frequency theory, and a good workshop with good tools and materials, it's easy. But without, it's more challenging.
