Incident between Joe Cullen and Jermaine Wattimena  

Its poor to stoke the crowd on the opponents throw, especially when hes doing it before hes even past the oche.

Respect for your opponent comes before how you interact with the crowd. The problem here is that the crowd were already booing and whistling Cullen's throws to try to put him off, so Wattimena's gestures (in Cullen's eyesight) are simply encouraging the crowd to become even more negative and hostile towards his opponent - like he doesn't trust himself to win on merit. I think it goes against the spirit of the sport, and sportsmanship in general, and Cullen was right to take a stand.

Let's face it Cullen can be a weapons-grade bellend. Well done James on doing us all a favour & making Dullen throw his toys out his pram 😂 👏

To be honest, any professional should be able to just ignore this and focus on their own game. However, everyone can have an off day and maybe Joe was. I don't think JW was purposefully trying to put JC off, just excited in front of a home crowd. Joe let it get to him and this put him off more than anything else. If he'd just composed himself and focussed on his own game he may have done better.

When you play self than you know the stress around it , so I understand the reaction, don't do it when it's not your turn to play with the public.

I'm from the UK and I just see it as Cullen being a very bitter... if you can't take losing then play better... simple as that
