LW really got little choice left as to who should be DPM. If it was not Gan ,it would be Heng but the latter already said his runway too short. OYK ,CCS are out. Some could be LW choice but they are not in the cabinet or even in the political party. The 2 Ridout clowns are definitely out. Teo is also on ORD mood. And that means it narrows down to Desmond or Ng. Ng defence portfolio cannot be changed.

Precisely, that's bcos the opposition has nvr ruled the country and has no experience on doing that. Thus the confidence of the voters always swing to the existing govt even though the govt don't really care. Giving monies and aid to the middle income has been a norm and it always the factor on swinging the votes again and again. Please remember that the govt will give you chicken wing and will take back the whole chicken after that. I just hope that they address our rights to our hard earned cpf monies, and to think how we they can help us to even try to prosper ourselves with their "aid". Giving us $5k on our 55th birthday is not a big deal when the $5k is our own money and hold our hundred of thousand dollars hard earned money for them to use it while we only can see the money 10 yrs later in a monthly distribution. I know it is true that some have cashed out and be a pauper even before 6tyrs of age. Do they think that some even enjoys life after 65 yrs of age with their own cpf monies and with the help of their children, own investment and properties? Why stop us all the things that we strive for, for years?

U kidding me??? I know he's an ipoh born...but no NS means he's not a true Singaporean. This just proof that since he has appointed himself as the Minister of Finance, means more of our hard earned cpf will be capitalised for the state. MOF shud think on how the middle income are looking forward to harvest tgeir cpf monies when 55. It is good that he is concerned abt our retirement but does he ever think how we can live with our cpf after 55? Personally I think it's not a fair deal that he has decided for us on how we want to spend our cpf monies. I'm very sure that he knows most people in singapore dies at the age of ard 60 - 70 before they can even get to enjoy their small monthly payouts. As a fair govt, he shud atleast listen to the middle income citizens rather than weighing out for the more fortunate citizens. CPF system changes with effect "overnight" and don't even give any thought to the citizens approaching the 55 yrs old. This is just unacceptable. This is not democracy. Its just plainly showing who is in power. Please remember that if most of us didn't vote for you, you are just another person working ur ass in the office. Its totally unfair to the people of Singapore who are just middle and lower income earner.
