Just finishing up my Top Flite Giant Scale Spitfire and got right up from watching this and hot glued the connections to my Robarts Electric Retracts box - after cleaning with alcohol. Took less than 5 minutes! Thanks very much for the tip!
I started doing this between my servo connectors and servo case so nothing pulls out. I try and strain relief the bundle before the connectors so there is no load on the connectors or the wire for a few inches tugging on the receiver.
Meh. I always de-pin the plugs and give the little springy tab contact thing a good wack so they damn well stick to the pins! Servos, escs, whatever. Sometimes i kink the pins on the unit itself. Occasionally... solder.
It did after I kept flipping the switch back and forth I finally caught it (I think) the cable when it had vibrated back into contact. Since doing the hot melt fix they have worked fine.
Interesting I building a mustang right now and looks like i glad I did exactly just that With the glue gun . Hope the electric retracts hold up for long time.I don’t feel like running air retracts.
It doesn't pause on any of the computers we or any of our other viewers are using. I suspect it is something on your end, your service provider, somewhere in that.
