Hey Michael, how do you feel about the "yes, yes, no" batting approach? If you like that approach, could make a video about it and some of your drills to reinforce it? Thanks for your help. Tt
+Tt8377 Thanks for the question! I don't personally like the "yes, yes, no" approach due to the way the brain works when it's thinking about "words" instead of visuals. However, there is an approach out there for everyone, and everyone will do something different. If it works for you, keep it up! If it doesn't, experiment with other approaches! We will add it to the list! If you have any other questions, just let us know! ~Michael Pro Speed Baseball
I would say that you are not actually saying yes, yes, no when hitting but the mindset is that you are swinging until you see that it is a ball or not your pitch. It would be the mindset of I am going to hit the ball, not see it and then hit it.
Just depends on how your timing is that day... if you're a little behind the line would be further in front of your lead foot, if you're early it could be a little deeper.... But yes, that's a great place to start and work from! Check out our Cone Timing Drill on RU-vid for some more info.... great video for this! ~Michael Pro Speed Baseball
