I’ve been watching these videos for a bit now, this is gold. So comprehensive and effective. This is going to be a catalyst for any kid with internet connection that wants to learn. State tournaments and NCAA’s a decade from now will be on another level.
Mean Gene! Do you have enough footage on him to do a video on his high half series? Its completely disappeared from wrestling these days except for the crab ride.
Big fan of your firemans/outside carry/sucker drag series but I have a question. It works really well for me like 60% of the time but the other times on better wrestlers I end up getting sprawled on and when I go for a drag or try to keep driving for a dump my ankles get grabbed and I get flattened out or they end up using their underhook for a whip over. I might just need to practice it more but I think I might be missing some small details
I believe the best way to set it up is to maybe fake the leg, after they bring it back and have their momentum going forward a little, its a better time to hit the fireman’s
The first clip is pretty insane - guy basically faked a drag while using the opposite arm to keep the underhook arm tight, then pivoted back to the short firemans/dump. I'm going to try to get some folks utilizing that back and forth.
But if you a heavier weight and you fail a shot against a competent wrestler you have no chance . Once they are on top of you , you will get punished by their weight alone .
