Been watching for over 4 years , biggest reason i got a rhino iguana , now i have a 4 foot fat lizard that acts like a dog freeroaming my house and taking over my bed at night.

I've been an on and off viewer of the channel for like 8 years, I think the first video I watched was either the world's biggest unboxing or the Hermann tortoise video way back in 2015 ish. It's kinda funny how a place can feel so familiar even if you have never been there physically and live 6000 miles away in Europe. The camp has come a long way, and I especially love how the backyard and ponds have exploded in diversity in the past 2 years. 2021 seemed to be an especially difficult year between Slinky nearly dying at the end of 2020, the raccoon situation, the thieves, Bobby Rabino, Lagatha, Freds death and more, but there have been so many amazing things coming since then, it's really exciting. I love Freds lagoon and Caiman creek, they really do feel like the crowning achievements of 20 years of Kamp Kenan. But also Slinky's new enclosure and many of the smaller projects have been amazing to witness. So thank you for all the hard work and letting us be part of this journey, Kenan! It's always a joy to come back after a long day, sit on the couch and see what's going on in the camp. It's also very inspiring, we've built and consequently updated a big outdoor enclosure for our 4 Hermann tortoises in the past couple of years. I'm looking forward to seeing where the journey goes next and if I'm still around in 20 years, I'd love to see the camp's 40th anniversary. Also shout out to Mat! You two are a great duo and I feel like he has brought some fresh perspectives to the channel and allowed Kenan to do more stuff without worrying about the camera constantly as well!

Dude, First off congratulations and thank you for sharing. I was so happy to hear you thank your wife at the end. I can only imagine you need an amazing partner to take on a Kamp like this. I have really enjoyed coming across you as an adult, I grew up riding BMX and watching you. We are the last generation that grew up outside, whether we realized it or not nature was our playground and we took advantage of wild spaces without knowing it. Now 20 years later I am playing with turtles and critters and looking for more information and there you are! it is amazing that we old pedal pushers still have something in common. Have been watching for 6 six years. The best and worst episode was the same one, when slinky nearly died. I really felt when he was just not moving and it was so good when he started moving.

I'll have to go back and look?) in that video stole my heart, and I've been a subscriber since. Thanks for sharing your passion! You converted me to a Reptile person, from a Bird Person! We still have poultry, but we've added a Beardie, and 5 Western Box Turtles. I have plans for an outdoor Dragon cage for summer and a large Redfoot enclosure to add this next year!

I think I've been watching since early '21 or late '20. Guapo, Lola, and Marge are my favorite kampers!

I have been watching since 2016, mainly because I wanted to give my Herman's tortoises a better environment. Not easy to do in Wisconsin due to temperatures but I got it figured out thanks to you! Your channel also encouraged me to get a couple more reptiles but also hold back on others I would've liked to have because it can't give them the space/ life they need.

Three years. I've loved turtles and tortoises my whole life. I cried when Slinky almost passed he's my second favorite there.

I think it was 2016 when I first began watching your videos, and 2017 when I became a member of patreon after you were kind enough to write me after I sent you an email about David from VPI gifting me one of his books, The Invisible Ark which you had mentioned being one of your inspirations for getting into reptile conservation. We have been watching since you got Darwin in 2013. My son was 4 and obsessed with your tortoises . He also told his classmates and teachers in school he is going to have tortoises like Kamp Kenan now has a red foot and three bearded dragon, childrens python, ball python, hognose, crested gecko, leopard gecko, jumping spider and a green bottle blue tarantula. Thank you for inspiring us love for reptiles and his desire to become a zoologist.
