This was really cool to play! I'd love to see a game mode where you play the game by the show rules and also a mode where you can play as The Dark Knight himself, trying to catch three "players"! I did find one bug in that The Dark Knight walked a little too far at one point, leaving one of the squares onto a walkway, and in the next move he walked back on himself to catch me, but stopped in the middle of the walkway apparently having fallen short.
Thanks for the comments - what rules did I miss? :) Ahh yes, I thought that bug could happen. It's because his movements are time-based - he actually has no knowledge of where the squares physically are. Was pretty sure I'd tested it enough to iron it out, but I guess not! :D
@@TiJayEye Ahhh that makes sense about the movement then! So the rules: The players get some extra turns at the start of the game: Players are given two turns, then DK moves. Players get two more turns, then DK moves. After that it's one turn each. This also leads into how the lights work; they only appear on the fifth player turn, showing the space that they just left and only for one turn, and that happens on every turn thereafter. Players can only go forward or to the side and DK can go in any direction, but they all must always alternate direction; forwards/backwards or sideways, so they couldn't go forward twice or left twice. Hopefully that makes sense. :)
That's much more complex than I grasped from watching the show! In the game, player turn is randomised 1-3. Of course - the lights only appear after the player leaves... in the game, they appear when the player is on the spot! And I forgot the alternate directions too... well, I hope the game is a fun enough analogue of the show, even if it isn't as accurate as I thought!!
