Wow. Maybe this is the third time I watch and listen to Huda Rahal. Her English is great as if she is talking Arabic not English. Her language is clearly understood! I am very glad to see that qualified English teacher from my country Syria has this eloquence in English, hoping that she will be a role model for many students who prepare for IELTS test not only in Syria but worldwide! Teachers Eli and Huda thank you so much indeed❤! Al Raqa Syria.
I lived in the US for 2 decades and I find it hard to answer these questions. The topics are so boring! I guess I've been watching too much of Matt Walsh and Megyn Kelly. 😝
Wonderful video as always.Just one piece of feedback: the pop sound when a useful word comes up is really distracting. The pink highlight and the thumbs up is sufficient I think. No need for a sound.

@@hudarah3965From the British Council website: "...scores ending in .25 rounded UP to the next half band and scores ending in .75 rounded UP to the next whole band". They round them up, not down. And it's not different for the Speaking part. Or I don’t see why it would be different…
@@honyehon Actually, @hudarah3965 is correct. Individual sections of the test are rounded down. For example, in IELTS speaking/ writing, if you get a 6.75, this would be rounded down to a 6.5; not rounded up to a 7.
@@EnglishProTips Thank you for the response, Eli! Can you please provide some official sources to back up your claim? I can’t find any mention of that on official websites… or anywhere except Quora, which is not very trusted. (Not commenting in bad faith, just want an explanation to improve my understanding). I just don’t see any mathematical or logical sense in that.
