It sounds insane with the orchestra, as well as the fact that unlike at Eurovision, this is really THEM playing those instruments. They were even better the second performance at San Remo.

Consider that the Sanremo stage in Italy is as important as ... idk, the Superbowl show for the USA. A stage on which you can destroy your career. Even experienced artists with 40 years of experience are afraid of that stage, and they hadn't played live for a year because of CoVid. 20yo...and they smashed it. With a kind of song you don't usually listen there. I have huge respect for these musicians.

Sanremo is located in Liguria (IMPERIA) after 70 years of traditional Italian music they arrived: the Maneskin and the Ariston Theater exploded, now the world will no longer be the same, now they are the ones and all the rest of the people have to stay " Shut up and good "!

Sanremo Song Festival last 5 days (one day is dedicated to covers in duets ) during which every song (all originals) are performed twice plus the finale. This video is the first Maneskin performance and you can hear Damiano was nervous in fact came out a bit breathless in the first part of the song, also the event being with no audience and shortstaffed due to Covid incurred in some tech. difficulties, here you can hear Damiano's voice much louder than the sound of the instruments, a part from that however the arrangement with orchestra really enhance the song I think the strings compliment it really well.

@@delymatsko919 yeah but as I said Sanremo Festival was arranged during pandemic with huge organization problem, in fact it happened 4 weeks after the standard date, there was no audience in the theatre and the staff was reduced to minimum, several technical problems occured along the way affecting the sound quality, besides it is notorious that it's a tough event and even already famous artists are nervous when performing there, imagine 4 kids putting on stage the consolidation of their career, because thats what the Festival represented for Maneskin......🙂

Sanremo is also known as "the city of flowers", that's why in the 71-year-old Festival of Sanremo it's traditional to gift lady performers with flowers. But this year, you know, with arguments about gender roles... I think Maneskin also had some role in changing it, because along the nights (the festival goes on for five nights) they started passing the flowers around the four of them, for equality. So around the third night the festival organisation caught on and shifted gear, and they started giving flowers to everyone, regardless of gender. By the way, you might have guessed, the wheeling cart is just a Covid measure, they usually deliver the flowers by hand.

During the Sanremo Festival, which takes place each year in February, flowers are offered to all female singers, because the city is famous for its flowers. This year they were carried on a tray because of Covid.

The (great) difference between Sanremo and Eurovision is that in Sanremo the whole band plays live, while in ESC only Damiano, the music is pre-registered

For some aspects, better in Sanremo with Grand Orchestra and Måneskin playing live, than Eurovision in Rotterdam. Rotterdam's was with Audience and They mesmerised boths, the Public and TV Whatchers in half the World; with a masterclass Performance by Damiano Who also sang better there. Sanremo was without Public because Covid restictions and They felt the pressure of the competition for presenting the first time "Zitti e Buoni" as a Boomer in such a "traditional" contest. By the Way, Songs performed in Sanremo must be totally unknown and unpublished before. But...Such a powerful Sound with precious melodramatic moments cured by the Director. Stupendo. La Bella Italia. Ps:fantastic the noise of the tubes amplifers at the beginning. Perfect 60/70s Rock Live Concert's Sound. Thank God They were in Rotterdam to jump from that trampoline to the Stars. ...

Of course ...in Sanremo was totally LIVE...in ESC only Damiano's voice was live. This was the very first time Italians listened to "Zitti e buoni"

This event is always in Sanremo called a flowers city every singer or band get flowers. If måneskin didn't win Sanremo 's festival probably they didn't take part of Eurovision.. funny enough like Eurovision it was a VERY unusual song to win. Looks people need more rock this days🖤 The Zitti e buoni pronunciation I think is the worst I have hear it😂😉

This is the best version you could ever ever listen to of this song: live with an orchestra in the Italian song contest Sanremo 2021. Top of top also for their costumes: elegance and energy from a very young talented Italian band. Italian product for worldwide exportation. This is what we call Made in Italy.

I can not agree. For me the drums are way to silent, especially the high notes. At the ESC and in the double feature with "I wanna be your slave" it sounds better.

A metà della loro carriera sottovalutavo Tomas il chitarrista poichè abituato ad ascoltare Eddie Van Halen, Stivie Lukater, Richie Sambora ecc, poi mi sono ricreduto, tramite software ho isolato le tracce di chitarre e ho "scoperto" che Tomas è geniale!!!!! In "Torna a casa" alla penultima strofa fa un riff eccezionale!!!!! Ethan ad X factor l'avevano dato per scarso, ma adesso in soli 3 anni è diventato un batterista con le @@!!!!! Complimenti

For Sanremo it's mandatory the orchestra so the musicians of that contest have to learn how to play all songs of the contestant plus the ones of several guests on the basis of the director /composer's classic arrangement. Enrico Melozzi director proposed to Måneskin 3 arrangements and the chosen one was te most aggressive (of course). E. Melozzi is very eclectic and versatile, able to aggregate an orchestra of 100 cellos, to write symphony in 10 days (for Teramo Cathedral) and also ballets. Just some interesting facts - when it is time for the Nobel price ceremoni in Sweden the city of San Remo sends all the flowers needed because Alfred Nobel lived in San Remo (less than a year) and died there 1896.

@@vanessagarnier6636 It was a miracle or, at least, a chain of unusual and unexpected events. Maneskin had gone to Sanremo just to launch their new album. They hoped for nothing else, they did not have a song suitable for winning Sanremo, just as it was not suitable for winning Eurovision. Viewers of the two events vote for another type of song. Not the same type for both, but ... "different from..." that one of Maneskins. Nobody thought that, due to Covid restrictions, the two Festivals would be watched by many people who usually don't watch them.

The costume is always wonderful. Damiano Davis's distinctive voice is something like broken( to pause a moment just like taking a breath but it is not really that way) one.It is so hard to endure and to bear the burden of this feeling.I almost can't keep n stand it any longer😂😅
