He is very lucky he didnt throw that v block out of the machine, If you pause it @1:26 and go frame by frame using the period and comma keys you can watch the part move as he hits it with his hand

DMG had a balancing cycle on their DMU FD duoblock millturn machines with their MillPlus control 20 years ago.

But Heller paid this show. I think titans is now a sellout channel to promote everything. They do interesting stuff but never point out if it is really special or somewhat standard. Also they add drama for the show.

He knew it was lazy clamping, with the angles of the clamps it just takes one slight move of the workpiece and everything becomes loose. Wasnt going to take a cut but forgot about the g force!@@ozguryardimci8621

I just want to point out, that you are just statically balancing the unit here! You still can (and will) have huge couple unbalances with this method. So for further improvements you should check experts like Schenck Rotec in germany for that topic.

Pretty sure they are doing a single-plane dynamic balancing here. Since the majority of the unbalanced mass will be very close to the table's surface, there really is no reason to do any additional balancing.. unless you're planning to take your machine close to the table's first eigen frequency 😂

Well this channel is becoming more and more an advertiser of super expensive german or swiss machines, that 95% of US machine shops does not have or need one for a couple of reasons. Worst thing is that in some videos they were laughing of haas.
