Okay now I'm intrigued, I created a playlist for /r/metalcore with the same 10k listeners threshold and not a single one of these bands are on it! Excited to hear all new stuff
for anyone who likes Car Bomb or Meshuggah, check out Weston Super Maim. they released a new album today but they have less than 5k monthly listeners on spotify
My personal recommendation if I sent in a band would be Cyborg Octopus. They're a prog/deathcore band which isn't just heavy breakdowns, and they incorporate some different genres into the mix as well like funk, jazz, and western.
There’s a band with 52 monthly called Ivy The Roar, listened to their song “Money” goes pretty hard, disgusting vocals if I remember correctly. Artwork is pretty sick too
The vocalist of The Royal was actually one of the last vocalists running for new vocalist of Northlane. Still a great band. The Royal are probably gonna make a comeback. They've been quiet for a few years now.
You should check out the song it all goes dark by the midwest borealis. I found the artist from his kerbal space program videos on his channel N9 gaming, and I knew he made some music, but I was blown away when I heard this. Unfortunately, I dont think he has made any other metal songs yet
I haven't watched the full video yet but I really hope Infestantibus is on here! They are absolutely incredible! I've been listening to them since they had only two monthly listeners (now they are at around 100)
So im from a small town in germany, here are a few Bands from my area: Motorjesus (heavy rock) , Cause For Confusion (Modern Metal), Ignition(Heavy Metal), Divine:Zero (Melodic Death Metal), Scornage(kinda-thrash metal/groovy af) ,Fjørt(Post Hardcore) , Never Back Down (HC/Metalcore) , Dedpool(kinda Groove Metal)
broooooo Bodine Wirihana is such an underrated music artist, so cool to see him in this list! Also as a recommendation, you should check out a metal band called The Word of Lawder.
Ooh, I missed this, but highly recommend Neck of the Woods if you do a stream like this again. They're almost at 2,000 monthly listeners. They're a little Metalcore band from B.C. Canada. I love everything on their debut album "The Passenger". If I had to choose one banger though, I would say listen to Face of the Villain
I don't even know if they're on Spotify, but y'all need to listen to Psychomancer . They're a death metal band from the late-90s from Michigan City, Indiana and are local legends. They put out 2 albums between 1998 and 2002 before breaking up, but they reformed and put out an album in 2018 on Bandcamp. Killer shit if you like that 90s sound.
Dude, I know how much you love KSE, you NEED to check a band from that era called TWELVE TRIBES. The Rebirth of Tragedy and Midwest Pandemic are BANGER albums!
@@Waffles_The_Neko I was more thinking Sightbacks and Evilgloom. I like my chaoscore and Sightbacks have definitely been influenced by Paledusk. Also sometimes the deathphonk sounds kinda like “how to Evilgloom” 🖤
One band that has just over 10k is a prog metalcore band called Still Stayer and they go fucking HARD. Please give them a listen sometime Nik. You won’t regret it ❤
Random but listening to Sirius XM and they featured your song with bad wolves on Octane! So sick to hear so keep doing what you’re doing and I always get a kick out of your content!
I was going to submit a song by Bodine Wirihana in this very stream, and I fat fingered and hit CRTL-ALT instead of CTRL-V to paste 😂 so I’m glad someone else had the same instinct
Ikinä is Finnish, lyrics in Finnish as well. "Ikinä" might mean "ever" or "never" depending on the context. "Tapa loinen" in "kill the parasite " in English, and so on.
