I watched this episode 3 times because it's so beautiful. A shame I can only like it once ! Who are the 55 that disliked it and what planet are they from ? Stay Safe & Fair Winds !!
Ive been told it some weird youtube algorithm thing, if you watch carefully the first ones will turn up really quickly, even before anybodys had a chance to watch the whole vid. I too find it impossible to believe theres anybody so soul less that they could dislike this.
This place is so magical and idyllic!!! The people and the animals all have it made! Never seen horses display joy in this way. I would too if I were them.
@Peter Ponomarenko Meah, I don't think so. She and Jason were just been polite to one and other as one would expect. Smiling and being polite doesn't have to always be considered flirting etc.
Tris and Dave are the most amazing couple you will ever meet. And beautiful Dior… a real life Moana, scaling trees in bare feet with a machete in her mouth! This albeit wonderful video doesn’t scratch the surface of what Dave has built there. Truly remarkable family not just talking about “eco” and conservation but demonstrating that you can go all-out like they have and still live with happiness, variety, vitality and style. Go there if you have the chance. Aside from The Barn, being guided by them swimming with Tonga’s whales is their thing… Tris and Dior are actually sea mammals; to witness them in the water with the wildlife around them is breathtaking :) And by the way, if all that weren’t enough, Dave is an ex champion windsurfer and exceptional waterman!
Me too... with the world as it is now , the choices after Covid are endless ( life is what you make it ) it's not a dress rehearsal 👍🇭🇲 I think it's certainly a great time to revaluate life for a better way of living and appreciation. Stay safe and well everyone greetings from an Australian in the south of Italy 🇮🇹👍❤️ Wendy Ciao.
What a tragedy to hear that the house, and everything else they built for so many years, is all gone after the eruption tsunami. Absolutely heartbraking. ❤
This is one of your BEST videos ever. I had a smile on my face from start to finish. Thank you so much for sharing. I watched it twice and both viewings were delightful. :) :)
Well when you live on a remote island, you work with what you've got to make ends meet. And they are living a healthy lifestyle so good for them. Love that they have guava, guava is a staple of the Latino world. I use guava to make pastelitos (Cuban pastries) with cheese And yes, you can eat turmeric leaves. Used a lot in Thai, Indian, and Malay cuisine
Just woke up this morning in Kansas City and ran to the computer to open my RU-vid to see your latest video. OMG!!! You guys complete me. LOL Can't help but love your life. As an older citizen of the world I love how easy off grid living looks. Healthy and happy people. B-52's call you happy shinny people. Thank you so much for sharing all your experiences with the rest of us. God Bless you please stay safe.
Every vid from the Wynns just makes me wanna get a bigger sailboat and just sail into the sunset! The level of happiness in every vid is amazing! Bless you guys for making my Sundays happier!
Seeing the horses roll in the sand, priceless no one in the world could copy seeing horses eating coconuts who knew horses liked coconuts they do know. What an amazing journey you've had! Wow! Thanks for sharing!
All of this family's hard work, self reliance, and resourcefulness has manifested into an incredible island paradise home! Soooo AHHHHSOME!! Talk about a healthy life... full on connection with the Earth, really alive & fresh food, and active lifestyle. AND THEN THE HORSES.... watching them walk into the ocean and then roll and play on the sand... total WONDERMENT!! Loved this video. It is a beautiful film portrait of the Sheen family in the Kingdom of Tonga.
For some preppers this is a perfect haven with all the natural ingredients of life sustenance. May this be an inspiration for those who wish to leave large cities and move out, this is cool for a safe place to live in and have peace of mind. May God bless you all.
Best episode ever. Spectacular! It is humbling to see how little one needs to sustain a healthy lifestyle and how wasteful most modern life is. Add a little micro brewery and life is great. Thank you for this video window into how others live off the grid. My next step is to donate to your channel. Bloody well done!
I"m always amazed at how amazed people are when they see someone living off the grid. It just stupefies me how they don't realize humans did this for, insert how ever many thousands of years your belief system can handle here, before there was a grid. And that was with no technology.
EXACTLY thank you with the transhumanism going on people will envy the “real” life they gave away for industrialization trust me in time they will see. People use to live like this all the time.
Love that you coped some sassy Aussie humour on how to pronounce basil and tomato. Btw It's chips and chips. Hot chips or packet chips if you want to get picky lol
I wish we all could be as happy as those horses. Mandala and this place look like two great places to be for a visit or an extended quarantine. Thanks for giving places like this exposure.
What an interesting and sweet family living an amazing life if that beautiful place. While stranded due to the pandemic you have introduced us to so many amazing people and places. Thank you.
@@jayt7227 ...It may not be, anymore, if they keep allowing people to film it/them. Drones will find them, in the end, anyway; & a wonderful lifestyle will be over.
Seeing horses roll on a beach just made my day! What an incredible place this family get to call home 🌴 🏚 🌴 So much variety in the garden- looks delish!
This is why I love Tonga so much. I actually met Dior at whale guide school and she told me about her family’s amazing sustainable homestead. My good friend in Hawaii sent me this link without knowing Dior was a friend of mine
Wow. Why would you ever leave? What a paradise. What a wonderful set-up. I don't know what it is about this video, but it's got to be one of your best ever. Not just the photography and commentary, of course, but the wonderful structure that reflects the laid-back, easy-going feel of the family and their island hideaway. It's just magical and soothing and a perfect sense of community with nature. Thanks.
You are an inspiration, have been following you for a few years now, I don’t comment much (am one of those quiet one, low profile!) but could not help myself today. Love your videos, this one is in my top 10!
Interesting family and stunning paradise. I always admire and am in awe of people that have the courage and tenacity to choose a different path than what is considered conventional and make it work. I'm curious about how they deal with medical issues for themselves and their animals. Doctor? Vet? It will also be interesting to see what path the daughter will choose as she gets older. As a young person she may get to a point where she wants to explore a bit. She'll certainly be very self-sufficient no matter where she goes or chooses to do.
What an absolute paradise! We hadn’t planned on a pacific crossing but that place might change our minds! Hope the Covid gets sorted soon, kinda feel bad for that young lady without any lads her age about.
Howdy from Houston. You guys surely paid your dues to earn this time in paradise. The horses rolling on the beach was hilarious. Your vids continue to improve. Keep up the great work.
Great to see the Sheen family still chasing their dreams in "Paradise" because everyone knows "Paradise" is not always what it seems. Thank you for this update.
