I find myself "comparing" performances to THIS one. 2004-2006 were prime. Natural aging changes all of us. I'll listen to ANYTHING they put out until they don't anymore.
I was at that show! 4th row center! I've seen about 450 live shows in my day..... And I will never see a better opener than Megalomaniac! They turned all of Red Rocks into the moshpit at a Korn concert! It was sick!
PEAK performance right here. Great band, great songs, above-great singer, great venue that always has a great audience, great sound, great show. I wonder if these kids realized just how good this evening's show was going to be. Looking back, I bet they 'get it' now - can't help but realize it. One of the last great rock bands - rock music started going askew after this time - the mid 2000's - I don't even know what to call it anymore - 'noisic?'
Simply perfect. No one introduced me to Incubus. Years ago I found them, listened to all songs, to me, no one beats this band. Tool is very close behind
first time i see this video about 10 years ago,, when i see it now, still feels like the first time. very highly recommend for new generation to know if there was a great rock band called incubus.
Dendy Rahadian I was born in this new generation and personally I love rock so much. It’s pretty much the only genre I listen to now (a lot of them are older bands) this band may not be my favourite but they are absolutely amazing!!!!!!!!!!
I do agree, but Incubus is more of the raw vibe while Muse is more processed if that makes sense. To me I'd just say two different sides of the rock spectrum, but both great nonetheless
Braden Spencer I agree that they are on two different sides of the spectrum and that they are both amazing live rock bands. I think Incubus opened for Muse one time a year ago.
I can only gape at such perfection. The last year I found out some performances for the show in Brazil in 2010 and this year Red Rocks.( I explore through time 😜) The both are outstanding. There's an energy, strain, wave, connecting all. Really special. The crowd was extraordinary too there. They started with that tune and right now they did inflame them. The public did embrace their music passionately. This live performance is like a flaming meteorite, a giant ball of energy and force just bulldozing its way. An top-notch atmosphere and where the spirits was ignited. Wow! If you were there and you feel nostalgic when you see it again, I can understand even if I didn't know them yet.
I hear you on the radio You permeate my screen, its' unkind but If I met you in a scissor fight I'd cut off both your wings on principle alone On principle alone Hey megalomaniac You're no Jesus Yeah, you're no fucking Elvis Special, as you know yourself Baby, just step down, step down If I were your appendages I'd hold open your eyes So you would see That all of us are heaven sent There was never meant to be only one To be only one Hey megalomaniac You're no Jesus Yeah, you're no fucking Elvis Special, as you know yourself Baby, just step down, step down Yeah You're no Jesus You're no Elvis You're no answer Hey megalomaniac You're no Jesus Yeah, you're no fucking Elvis Special, as you know yourself Just step down
Amiel it's still here, we're just letting the industry brain wash out kids into thinking the guitar and drums are obsolete and to think that one common beat and someone talking is music (bullcrap). My sons worship Incubus and they are musician themselves listen to them at X3SR.bandcamp.com people support the Real Deal!!!
he is simply stating that after this album, the quality of Incubus songs went south. its easy to hear. they are still great, but this album is their last true GEM.
