David Letterman really was a huge contributor to putting 90s Rock. Alternative. Grunge on live TV. Made sense he was chosen to induct PearlJam into RN R Hall of Fame
Dude is right. Out of all the bands of that era are still big, incubus isn’t heard of. What ya got? Nirvana , korn, sublime , weezer, 311, ect. Boyd is the real deal. Look at his art.
These guys are probably the best live, no doubt. The drummer and lead guitarist are worth more than any other band, then you add a lead singer like Brandon Boyd?...yeah you got a hall of fame band
Brandon is amazing live and on albums/ in studio. Sounds exactly the same. I love artists that can do that. It gives fans a great experience all around. Jose got me into drumming in high school and I'm still a huge fan all these years later. Definitely my favorite song of theirs l. Got me through being bullied and when I was depressed. Now my kids are listening to them with me and my 8 year old wants to drum. 😁
Wow, that was flawless. I've only seen them live once on the Crow Left of the Murder tour right after I graduated high scool. Way too many years have passed; I've gotta catch them on the next one!
I can’t believe I went 23 years without that album. Glad my girlfriend introduced me to their music and we got to see them live last year when they did a tour for that album.
every time i look at their guitar player when they are playing live - he always looks so confused and I always think something is wrong, but everything always sounds perfect when they play live
Can you imagine how many millions of times they must have played this song? If you watch their performance of "In the company of wolves" from the same show you'll see a marked difference in performance; they're just more into their new stuff. Brandon especially just loses himself in "Wolves".. The band has grown up, and I understand if they're not as angry and defiant as they were during "Make Yourself" and "Fungus"..
I can't imagine playing a masterpiece like this in front of a crowd that looks like a line for the DMV. Less movement than a dying Roomba. Lemme up front.
Unfortunately, I don't think he has that hollow body PRS that gave Morning View its thick sound. So stupid that he got rid of it in favor a a Jazzmaster or whatever he started playing instead on Crow.
