On our way North from Buena Vista, we went up to Leadville, then back down to catch the CO-82 that takes you up to Independence Pass. That was a beautiful drive and what a great place to see, the Continental Divide! It just seems so peaceful up there!

You left your mark! Cool to think you pee on one side it goes in the Atlantic ocean, pee on the other and it goes to the Pacific.

I live in Oregon. We have a lot of mountains, but you were higher than any place in Oregon. How does that feel to people who live at an elevation of what, 10 feet?

Wonderful Adam and Abby, you make it so easy for us armchair travelers to enjoy the scenery without the altitude effects. Keep traveling. Tom and Carol

I spent a year living in the back of my truck in Colorado, every Friday I got off work and hightailed my self up into the Rockies. I once blew out my tire on Independence Pass, then began to hitchhike to the nearest town. I got picked up in a Tesla and the man told me the nearest town was Aspen. Spent the weekend there, that Saturday night I hit the bar hard until midnight, when I stumbled out onto the downtown walkway and saw my first bear rummaging from dumpster to dumpster. Nothing compares to Colorado

My wife and I were there at the end of September. It was 30 degrees and those ponds were froze. The air is thin above the tree line and not all the snow melts. Love your videos.

I have to say the quality of your videos is absolutely outstanding it really brings the beautiful scenery to life. My traveling days are over due to illness but I felt almost like I was there with you. You are two wonderful people and it lifts my heart to see you so happy together. Thank you both from the bottom of my heart. God bless you and all the best from The UK

The "coke furnases" or coke ovens were used to convert coal to coke to use in the blast furnace of The Colorado Fuel & Iron Co. at Pueblo to make iron from the ore which then is made into steel.

Abby & Adam. I am happy and proud you enjoyed my state. You picked a beautiful route with Independence Pass leading to Aspen. I look forward to your video of the rest of the drive to Vail !! Btw, some of the viewers might be wondering about how Adam could barely reach the sign to place his sticker. Well, a majority of the year (when the pass is open) the sign is buried in snow. People can walk up to the top of the sign, no problem. That explains how the other stickers got placed 12' in the air! Many feet of snow falls on that pass. Thanks for visiting. Don't wait long to return....Paul
