The water is a natural phenomenon that begins in the mountains of Tibet. As temperatures increase, more melting caps will increase the volume of water, plus increased rainfall. Blaming China is ridiculous. Instead these countries will have to build their own dams or figure out a solution. Increase in flooding is taking place all over the world, dams or not.

The dutch fought against the ocean floods and won ( in 1500s) we can't even solve the recurring river flood problem even in 2024. Bring some ditch engineers and they'll show how to reign the water.
Is there a place my wives and daughters and their female employess can build 2 dam walls front and back of a central high dam to the height of the middle of the Chinese dam.. ? Or near to that height? With the down falling falling waters put up into the air by the massive water blowing and wind blowing turbines? With a pipeline set comming from india comming from rivers to the West with dams there as well to blow the fresh water up into the air and cause rain to fall into the many areas that will need the snow this winter? Prayers for all involved in these horrendous floods! These floods are not because of climate change which does not exist. It is all cyclical. I've seen this because I have lived 70 years.
What have the concerned authorities been doing about the recurrent natural calamities? How can they recline at ease, living millions of lives, livestock at bay??
It's very disturbing to watch this devastating situation and it definitely needs transe border efforts. But what China is doing here is identical to what India did with rivers naturally flowing into pakistan. Humans have to exercise caution playing with nature. No one seems to learn the lessons and unfortunately the common population suffers from the unwisely executed ambitious projects coupled with poor management systems. May Allah bless and protect those suffering from the present crisis. And may we all learn lessons from the past for corrective measures to avoid similar disasters in future. Stay blessed
