'India is not sitting on the fence', says External Affairs Minister S.Jaishankar Reaction S Jaishankar interview reaction. India external affairs minister Original video link: • 'India is not sitting ...
This interview of Dr. Jaishankar's will be used as a part of the curriculum to teach foreign secretaries and ministers on how to answer questions diplomatically, rationally and logically. We will see diplomats from other countries giving similar answers he gave in this interview to defend their stand and will indeed sound like broken record. :)) The interviewer had absolutely no idea how to counter any his answers as she was dead sure that she would corner him. She got flustered towards the end and her tone quickly changed to retort as she realized that she got schooled and educated by Dr. S.J.
they will really need this in their schools cause their diplomats are being schooled and yes at the end she changed her tone even when Dr joked about tea break you could see her response and frustration
@@thatguyvik I noticed that too. I thought Jaishankar sir was trying to make a heavy environment like that lighter but it was like she simply wasn't ready to give up fighting, it was like she wanted to keep on argumenting and that's why she gave that kind of response
This guy is schooling the world. None others can talk so bold and clear about "Europe-Centric Mindset" today! That must change! This guy (Dr S Jaishankar) is an Eye Opener of the world today!
By far ,India's best foreign minister ever...literally everyone is astonished with the amazing manner in which he has handled and given it back to the hypocrisy of the west post Russia Ukraine ...I genuinely believe he is a role model to all the foreign ministers of this world and his speeches should be used in foreign diplomats training courses ...
I remember as a student in a Western University. We had a sizeable Mainland Chinese student presence in our class as well as a few American Chinese. The PRC Chinese would term these purely westernized Chinese as 'Bananas': yellow on the outside, but white inside. The same consideration extends to our people, too.
@@upresins we call them coconuts : brown outside, white inside. By the way, both the interviewer & the MEA us of the same ethnicity. The interviewer was born in India & went to UK for studies. The way she talked was cringe worthy,to us who share the same ethnicity!
Western model of diversity is very much superficial .They can't tolerate different opinion/stands but would like to see people with different shades singing for the western interest.
We have a diamond and whole india proud of our sir when he says I am for whole india every indian fully support that "I" This is voice of india which we want from 1947 🥰❣️
@@thatguyvik Of course we're proud, it's not everyday that one has a foreign minister, or just any person in power, be so assertive of the interests, needs and values of the nation. India, as a nation, has experienced enough ignoring, bullying, etc. in its existence..
16:08 "The coffee break is less important but your staff is insisting" says a lot. Looks like she was served enough to not look for a coffee after all 😂.
She came so planned that she will hunt down Indian minister and got hunted herself. This coffee reply was showing her frustration of failure in her goals 😂🤣
That woman is so rude, impolite so full of herself. She is the voice of the west. Representing us and Europe trying to get the EAM to accept something...but the EAM is clear..cut throat...India has changed...She will roar and let the jungle know of her presence..
*Statement of The Decade!* *Europe needs to grow out of the mindset that Europe's problems are World's Problems but World's Problems are not Europe's!* *That needs Utter Guts!!* 👍👍👍🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳 *India is Capable of Making its Own Decisions!!* *JAI HIND!*
This interview of Dr S Jaishankar is going to be the "Interview of Century" I think in my opinion. The way he handled the punches coming off from everywhere was stupendous. People in the future are going to look back and say what a legend he was.
It's understandable no one can beat a UPSC cleared candidate in answering questions 😅 OMG i didn't even know i got that much likes 😂 Thanks everyone 👍🏻
@@gangadhakad9987 Apart from UPSC topper, he's the son of late S. Subramanyam who was the master strategist senior IAS officer helping Indira Gandhi in successfully bifurcating Pakistan and independence of Bangladesh. This runs through his blood.
@Raag Jain true,... But the kind of potential our bureaucrat have is Apex. Most of The talent gets waste because of Politicians wants these highly skilled required positions despite they don't have any Skills Or Knowledge. Lalu yadav was Railway minister during UPA 🤮🤮🤮 he don't even Remember name Of His Children correctly.
And that's why we need well educated, confident , logical , knowledgeable and updated , diplomatic sensible officers who think about everything by keeping the country as prior in our politics . WE REALLY NEED THEM .
The interviewer was determined to embarrass India’s External Affairs Minister. But the Minister did not oblige her in defensive arguments. He just separated the grain from the chaff. His responses were clear , well thought out and irrefutable. I hope every interviewer who plans to embarrass this man would watch this video before being humiliated by JAISHANKAR.
As an Indian who grew up in an African country, I find it baffling when Europe and Britain have the gall to accuse anyone else of being self serving after all the harm they did to Africa? Take the genocide in Rwanda for example. Everyone in Europe and UN was a fence sitter while thousands were dying to their own country completely instigated by the self interests of France
I don't live in India... But still know.. it's s best country.. nd he s the best minister of india till now.. who really don't care about dominating country like usa china etc
You need to understand this very very clearly that this lady works for BBC and the channel showing this news feed is "The Print". Both BBc and The Print are no short of anti Hindu and therefore anti Modi propaganda channels. Their aim is to not ask meaningful questions but their aim is to ask questions to somehow corner Modi. You will notice that this lady will try to cut and interrupt Jai Shankar as much as possible when she senses his responses are exposing her hidden agenda.
@@thatguyvik I think world should knows this.....India don't have intention to become super power and suppressed other countries. We want to see other poor countries to grow. Actual we don't like this. India never invade other countries. All others invade us. As common people of India I want live and let live
Dr. S.Jaishankar can just knockout the opponents with his words. 👊 After inviting him they wanted to criticize our position on Russia-Ukraine war, but got trolled by him.
The overall motive of this interview was to corner India and ask " Whether India is with America and Europe or it is with Russia . With China being used as a future threat to India where India may need help from America and Europe... So aptly and diplomatically responded by Dr. Jaishankar 👏👏👏👏👏... What a presence of mind and clarity of thoughts... His counter examples just won a billion hearts. We Indians do not favour war as a whole irrespective of the participants....because it is a disastrous thing...but history speaks that whenever a war is imposed on us ...India has always shown its power and surprised its aggressors. We belive in the policies.. 1) The world is a "one big family" and 2) "Stay happy and make others happy".
The interviewer got frustrated and indignant towards the end as she was not getting any commitment as she was hoping to from the "cornering". Found it amusing
As an African you must be knowing of the fact that how much hypocrite Europe really is. I still remember the moment when Omicron variant was found in South Africa and the whole world cornered South Africa on the issue and the West did so much racism against them. At that time India stood up for Africa not just because it was India's responsibility but also because we Indians see Africans as our brothers and sisters. We share the same history(colonialism), we share a bond and we have good people to people connections. A lot of Africans come to India for their studies and they've benefited a lot by staying here. India will always stand for the African and the developing world against the West. We are buying oil from Russia because oil prices in India are already high and our people can't survive in this situation if the oil prices remain so high. Until recently we were buying oil from Saudi Arabia so it makes no sense to just accuse India of funding the war when European nations like Germany, Austria, Hungary and others are continuously purchasing Russian oil and gas
Yeah i do know how hypocritical they can be in so many different situations and what you are pointing at is true just like what Dr Jaishankar said, everything doesn’t evolve around Europe but they want it to and if there’s an issue somewhere else they can turn a blind eye just like your example so yeah I understand
@@thatguyvik yeah man and the thing with South Africa actually affected me a lot. If they wanted they could've just lied and told the world that there's no new Covid variant in their country but they're honest and they showed their honesty by telling the world about Omicron so that countries can prepare to deal with it. But what did the West and America gave them for their honesty?? Economic and social isolation and racism!!!!
Dr. Jaishankar is one of the brightest minds in the international affairs. He's scholar, diplomat and astute politician of highest class. Tamil sage Thiruvalluvar said "Articulate, tireless and unafraid - beating such a man is almost impossible to anyone," and Jaishankar is the prime example of sagacious words written by 2000+ years. Thanks for reacting to the fantastic video.
thanks for the great review. India is helping many poorer countries with food, pharma and other exports. I hope it gets the recognition as a great humanitarian country
The coffee break is less important but ur staff are insisting...that's when I felt that she was ridiculing an External affairs minister of the largest democracy...however, Mr.Jaishankar is a class apart, the calmness n composure at display defines every bit of the word diplomacy...he was befitting in his replies while being polite all along...truly amazing.
He is really best foreign minister of India 🇮🇳🇮🇳✌️he has a great personality ....his talks is very straight forward ✌️🇮🇳🇮🇳and knows foreign policy brilliantly
Indian foreign ministry said: even if you are struck in Mars also, india will save you 🇮🇳 Recent example: indian medical students got saved from Ukraine, and India saved it's enemy country Pakistan's 🇵🇰 students too, who are struck there. We believe in #Vasudaiva kutumbakam ( Whole world is family) 🙏
I am proud we have such brilliant Ex. IFS Officer as our EAM. We should pack our government with such intelligent people. Nirmala ji is also very good, Rajnath is quietly efficient. Imagine Rahul Gandhi or Mamata or Akhilesh Yadhav in such position and situation.
yes I was astounded too and loved that response. You have the option to take a stand not chose to be transactional. Depends on what my value system is and what I give importance to.
Congratulations to you for bringing up this conversation of our External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar. He represents India and a voice of 1.4 billion people and also the voice of developing and underdeveloped countries across the world!
Bhai sirf upsc is not the only reason..thousands people crack upsc every year and hundreds of them crack IFS. The reason is his decades of expirience serving
16:05 Mr. Jaishankar tries to calm the intense situation by making a little joke on coffee break, but look at the host(and the other Westerners), she's being too political and anyhow wants him to speak against Russia and get support for her side. She's British Indian I think. I mean she's sure not an Indian citizen. Anyways, I do not hate Europe, I actually respect Europe for their achievements, but when these guys start loosing a debate they start saying stupid things, giving racial statements etc. One of the comments in this video said, ''My stomach starts turning upside down when I listen to Indian English Accent'' I mean WTF? Where did english come in between all this? Jaishankar has a good english, good enough for everybody to understand properly. That guy was of course frustrated by the hearing facts.
Yes I realised that as well, he made a joke and she said its not important that was clearly just bad honestly and yeah we all respect Europe but they do have some undesirable traits
Host did a great job of asking those boiling questions and quenched the thirst for the answers. She did a brilliant job getting out the exact answers from our FM that in turn served India's interest.
Europeans are basically plunderers and looters of the world and have hardly developed by themselves ...even the British museum is basically an indian artifacts museums of stolen items by the British colonisers...
The irony is that the interviewer is also Indian. That's the capability of India. We represent almost every democratic country. That's India, guys. . Btw, Jaishankar is just a simple guy who tells the truth. Western hegemony is what India is really fighting, China and Pakistan are secondary crisis we can tackle later.
She is Indian in looks and perhaps name. In terms of citizenship, mindset and thinking she is completely British. I didn't sense anything Indian in her
This is just a demo. Watch him owning some of the interviewers and even foreign counterparts in interviews and international conclaves. He is a true patriot and fantastic diplomat. One of the Gems in Modiji's cabinet.
@@thatguyvik not only he loves his country but also entire East i.e. Asia Africa middle east Caribbean mexico central and south America, pacific island, he's our every easterner's representative brother...love you from India..we east are the best, we're the birthplace of humanity, human civilization, we're ancient we're united, we're vast than tiniest Europe and entire west
Only just with the word INDIA and Dr.Jaishankar you can break all the algorithms of RU-vid and every other social platforms. That's just an minimalistic power of his name which gets showcased here and there . His is a complete in total a powerhouse of himself . Jai hind
I am not a BJP supporter or a fan of Modi... As many mentioned, he is easily the best external affairs minister India has ever produced... This post used to be decorated by politicians... for the first time we have an excellent diplomat in this position.
This is foolishness. The FM was chosenby Modiji. Why Wd younotbe fan of Modi ji?He is doing a lot for India, intl diplomacy, empowering India by increasing military strength and promoting economy.and see the opposition whose leaders like stalin, kcr, lalu, mamta, kejri are just small minded pigmies.
You may not be a Modi fan..but foriegn policy is of Modi,Jaishankar handpicked by him to work on it.That he is capable is a plus.Modi cannot be ignored by leftist idiots
Dr. S Jaishankar is THE BEST EAM India could have and I think even in the future no one can top him. The only minister in Cabinet I have huge huge huge respect for. This happens when a technocrat becomes Minister. If the next EAM can only be 50% as capable as him, I will be extremely happy.
There is a saying here in India " do whatever it need, go every extinct to stop a war, but when war breaks show your opponent who you are.... वीर भोगे वसुंधरा brave rules the world.. Proud to be an Indian 🇮🇳
When they(western media) couldn't fight with Dr. Jaishankar they put Indian origin against an Indian but no one is match for him. I wish India will grow and glow more and more.
After a long time, India has an articulate, knowledgeable, level-headed foreign minister They also have a strong Prime Minister and a government which has charted their own course and not kowtow to foreign interests. Way to go India! Those two reporters or appropriately inquisitors, continue to use the same rhetoric over and over, dont they understand simple English arguments!
Dr. Jai Shankar was brutally blunt in his response. This was as it should be as I see the logo of “ The Print “ behind on the wall , which is a known anti indian channel along with another channel called “ the quint” . I thoroughly enjoyed the way he tore her arguments into pieces.
