I saw a reel about this startup and product on Instagram and regretted reading the comments. People are depreciating it just because it doesn't have a western tag. Utterly shameful!

It is disrespectful, and shameful that people still think Western Good, Domestic bad Everyone knows that these vehicles can't operate on Indian roads, No autonomous vehicles can, But these same people ignore the fact that they are the reason why it can't operate on Indian roads, If the people of India learn how to drive properly, then this problem would be solved. They want to compare Western products but they hate it when they are compared to a Western public.

It is still in development stage I saw th video it can't detect speed bumps that much efficiently now ,it's speed control is also in initial stages just the object detection and avoidance is quite good

Autonomous vehicles which work in closed and controlled environments have existed for ages. But good to see Indian companies are catching up too. However, I see 3 main problems to such a thing being adopted for level 5 autonomy on Indian Roads - 1. The infrastructure (potholes + irregular speed breakers) makes it hard. Either the software needs to be mind-blowing or the roads do. 2. Indian driving mentality. While it is efficient in some regards (5 cars on a 4 lane road), it can be very unpredictable and aggressive. 3. Policy changes. Autonomous accidents like Tesla already get a lot of flack even though when humans drive in various inebriated states, accidents are just as likely. Not sure what the government will and won't allow.

I’m so happy to see companies like these are coming out! Such a huge inspiration and confidence boosting for more students to take true engineering streams! It is extremely difficult to make real-world products, forget it being innovative… just the skills needed to simply design a working physical system is very high, these guys are amazing!

Damn, I feel like his talent wouldn't be appreciated here. I am not sure if this tech is available in diff countries but definitely useful for college campus/ golf carts/ railway stations/ etc.

If it work in Bangalore Traffic at 9am ( Chandapura) to Airport ( 11am ) ., with a small-Dash or Scratch., Then it's best Automation Car in world ever made.😊

These types of prototypes never hit the roads... Because in closed campus, means college/universities or big corporate companies, do you really think they will invest these heavily just to travel from one campus to other, where instead maybe buy 500 e bikes

The startups that we now knew as they became unicorns and major in this filed across the world would definitely have started their journey like it. Their were/are many seeds (of innovative ideas and business based upon it have/had taken birth )in our country but hadn't survived much probaly due to the mentality of the people of our country and their faith on domesticated product or may be corruption. But we have to understand that its necessary to believe in our country's genius mind and give them boost in there businesses to expand and grow by showing support.

Yeah there is a slight problem, our road transport minister(2024) said that no driverless cars be allowed as driving sector employes a lot of people, though this is subject to change; at present it has pretty much no chance

An Autonomous vehicle's success in Indian roads a little hard task but I think it'll be achieved one day.

This is a good start but level 5 takes enormous training data & enough compute to train the model. That is the tough part.

Looks like a army tank, but it’s a step toward the development of smart vehicles, which India desperately needs. About 150,000 people die on Indian roads every year - perhaps these smart vehicles will decrease the carnage on Indian roads. Let the positive transformation continue.

Everything's good but did the team really pass through the Aerodynamics course? I know it's a slower vehicle but reducing the drag would definitely improve its range
