I went to northern India for just over two weeks with TruTravels with 8 other strangers and a local guide. We've already been to Delhi, Udaipur, Pushkar, and next up... Jaipur!
In this episode we visit the pink city of Jaipur and experience a local cooking class with authentic Indian food, the Hawa Mahal or Palace of the Winds, Jaipur City Palace, Amber Fort, learn about block printing and (not documented for good reason) took part in a Bollywood dance class.
This video was filmed in February 2024 🇮🇳

Please visit South India. Visit once Cities like Bengalore and Hyderabad but must visit Specially ancient cities like Tanjor, Mysore, Hampi , Nellore and kanchipuram. Also visit Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar Island and Goa. Must visit Darjeeling hill station, Gangtok, Guwahati and Cherapunji in North East India. Don't forget to visit Pune, Ahmedabad, Sambhaji Nagar (Aurangabad) and offcourse Mumbai. And even Sardar sarovar Dam which has world's Tallest statue in Gujarat (Must visit). India is very diverse and apart from Taj Mahal there are too many UNESCO World Heritage sites present in India. We will wait to see your visits on those places.❤

Hope you have a nice time here. Do take a guide wherever you go. It might be confusing if travelling in India for the first time. Guides will make the process smooth.

Hey Anna! I just found your channel, and I really enjoy your vlogs. I am from the US and looking into solo backpacking 2.5 weeks in India in Nov. I have only been to Thailand, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Dominican Republic, and Bahamas before. I felt safe in all of those places, even walking around at night by myself. What are your opinions for solo female backpacking for India? I have been in law enforcement for 14 years. I don't scare or intimidate easily and am very aware of my surroundings. You just hear so many nightmares of females in India.

@@ericaallen60 Hi! Thank you so much 😊 I’ve gone into this in a bit more depth in my India travel guide video, but I had a couple days solo in Delhi either side of my tour. It’s good you’ve solo travelled before because I wouldn’t recommend it for a first time. I wouldn’t say I felt unsafe per se but I definitely had men following me and trying to talk to me. It just gets tiring travelling like that and always being on guard. I wouldn’t say it’s impossible but I’d suggest breaking up your backpacking with guided tours even for day trips like Taj Mahal and street food tours etc to alleviate some of that stress and exhaustion! After all you want to enjoy yourself 🥰
