I live in Canada which is very similar to America. 124,000 per annum is a very big deal and can only be earned as a new earner for certain fields of employment. On an average someone with a decent education can earn around 80,000-100,000 as a beginner. That’s all. So it’s far more worthless to live away from home but we spend a. Lot of money to move from India to Canada so we end up staying in Canada for a while to get back that money and eventually it becomes our life 😭😭😭😭😭

For Chicago to go to a distance of 10KM it will cost you $ 2.5 where as in India for the same distance in AC bus it will cost around 100. For the same distance if you go by Uber it will cost $18-20 = Rs. 1600. If you travel in Ola or Uber, it will cost only 300 maxium in peak time. Being one of the largest producer of Oil, Cost of Petrol in US is around 5$ for 3.87L which is equal to Rs.109.00 In India we eventhough we import the oil to the tune of 80% our average price in India is only around 102.00 If you go to Star Bucks for Coffee it cost around $2.00 = 160.00, Masala Dosai $9 = Rs. 950. Hence, just do not compare the cost of living in US and India by converting in to Rupees.
