ICC released the fixtures on Jan 5th but until the tournament started , it seems the British journalists n ex players never saw it to realise the starting time . They kept their mouth shut for 5 months but all suddenly it seems are so concerned about the future of cricket till they have to attack ICC n BCCI. I sure these guys know that all the cricket boards like CA, ECB , PCB etc approved the fixtures and times before ICC released it to public but these people it seems have so much hatred towards India that they only attack BCCI. The hatred they have for India will increase tremendously after this win by the Indian team.
Whole of Asia - Nepal, Pakistan, india, Srilanka, Bangladesh, oman, dubai etc have same timezone. They give cricket a lot of viewership. Do u expect icc to keep event at odd timing where none of Asian countries(their major revenue market) get to watch? Lol in which sport they do that? Every sport keeps timing based on viewership and revenue.
Yas rana had claimed India will not win this worldcup and he is now not talking about the wc finals😅😅😅😅, as a cricket analyst you need to be neutral, you can support SA if you dont like India but making statements like 'India wont win' is an amatuer statement and now Indians are having a good laugh at him
Honestly didn't realise that Jay Shah somehow ran the length of the field, straight past the umpires to mess with the boundary rope/hoardings, but ofcourse that's where my friends from ENG,AUS,SA,PAK,BAN comes in as they clearly saw that all those things DID INDEED HAPPEN from their television sets back home although almost everyone in the ground missed the event taking place. #EAGLEEYES
@@kisovalley7234some one with Tanveer Ahmed did talk about it, it's really awkward to look at Pakistani shows nowadays, they Target Indians and communities unnecessarily
Yall don’t need to pander to Indians, I get it, but deciding to prioritize English test squad over a WC winning match 😂😂😂 hilarious order of analysis 😂😂😂
I don’t agree with the comment by Mark that India was not “tested”. They faced: a) Pakistan, b) An ascendant Afghanistan, c) Australia, and d) England, before they got to the final. Outside of that match up with Pakistan, one could argue that the matches weren’t “close”, but those teams aren’t second tier …
You talk about pretence but look what you put in the title and what was your flow of analysis? Spent 22 minutes talking about the announcement of England's test squad while baiting the viewers in with the title. Everyone loves making money innit, only the English know how to do it while also being morally always in the right.
@@harifederer we are not british to be whining. The moment you lost test series back in February where your self proclaimed style "Bazball" got buried, all of the brits took whining to the next level. I can list a few if you like.
this mark butcher was criticizing indian cricket blaming them for basis in wc against other teams he said why india was playing in giyana well he doesn't realize indians are the major viewers of wc so broadcasters have to go india way
They are salty and talkin nonsense. If india didn't top it's group that is, if it had lost match to Australia then it's india (instead of Afghanistan) playing SA in other stadium.
If Indians want to watch cricket at their free time, the match has to happen at that time. Indian audience is the priority and you can’t do anything about it. It always sweet to hear when UK people talk about the command that India holds 😂
Well, if time priority needs to stop then it's pretty simple, you guys provide the broadcaster money and hold the game wherever you want and time. Don't provide these rubbish statement that ICC is giving privilege to BCCI as it is done based on broadcaster which is Indian for next 4 years so to make profit they do what they think is right for their profit
Klassen got out due to complacency. I remember doing this couple of times during my club cricket days . Once we needed 20 of 5 overs with 5 wickets in hand. I was at 56 and went for a big cross hit 😊got bowled. Rest4 batters got out cheaply. We lost by 9 runs. Same thing happened years later. This time Needed 10 runs of 4 overs with 4 wickets in hand got caught trying to hit a six. Match got extremely close as we somehow won by 1 wicket & 4 balls to spare.😂
To Mark Butcher .. of course it hurts for ICC to prioritize the indian audience .. but what about indians working in call centers for US folks at 3 am in the morning .. ever given a thought to that .. if you wish you can petition ICC to have all future world cups in India so that it starts at a proper time 😊
India won by 5 runs against Pakistan in 2007, by 7 runs against South Africa, what an innings in final by Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya and Bumrah turned the match, Sky caught the catch of the tournament. Roko legendary retired after winning T20WC glory for India, Indian team will never be same after Roko, Jadeja missing in dugout after retirement, end of an era of legendary trio.
This is effed up. Change the title of your podcast. Skipped through all the way to the place where they discuss the final. Who in the world is thinking about the test squad now except you muppets.😂
You may not realise but wisden is actually an English organisation so of course they would cover the test squad especially when so many big calls have been made. They also have time stamps so you can skip, literally a non issue.
It's not only india, the South African time was 5:30pm too, so it makes perfect sense! And as far as the local population goes they were more than happy!
Funny how the English wants to teach about taking cre of the game. If it was upto you guys we would be still playing in rainy fucking Birmingham every world cup
Used to watch this channel quite a bit, stopped because even as someone who isn't Indian, your blatant anti indian bias is insulting to my intelligence, constant subtle clandestine/ tacit jabs, thinking people don't notice. Grow up!
Ian Smith said that the last 2 balls of Bumrah will be most significant of the match, little did he know that Maharaj would take a single to retain the strike on the last one.
I agree 10:30 games are not good. But it was not done for team India. It was done coz Indian broadcaster who paid freaking 3B dollars on their own, demanded it. And all the other boards signed it.
@37:40 Yeah Butcher keep crying 😅😅 but never question England's WC start date of May 20 in 2019 where it rained till June 10 th with lot of cancellations only to accommodate Ashes series in Summer. Never question that. Shame on you.

My 2 takeaways from the wc. 1. As someone living in the US, the timings were perfect for my consumption. 2. Living in the US for 7 years, I had lost all contact with the sport, this wc rejuvenated my interest. Imo, you cannot interest the American population in cricket without making the immigrants re-interested first as we are the ones that would educate the American audiences.
On what basis WTC finals are always hosted in england 😂😂 WTC 2023 should've hosted in Newzealnd and upcoming 2025 finals should be played in Australia as they're the defending champions ....
The idiocy of Butcher is astounding. The matches are timed the way they are because more eyeballs means more advertising revenue. The presumption that Indians would wake up any time of the night or skip work to watch t20 is ridiculous. In the same sentence he calls the time as 'prime time' in India, which by definition means most eyeballs. Butcher is such a loser.
That Yas Rana Guy is saying Team looks to play out Rashid Khan or Adil Rashid.. Rashid Khan I get it. But who the fuck plays out Adil Rashid ? Poms are never gonna leave out Thier cricketers even if when comparison is between legends of the game ! 😂
Bumrah is India’s greatest ever match winner. What a role model he is! You take out Bumrah from this team, I don’t see india winning anything substantial.
Lmao who are these jokers? Whole of Asia - Nepal, Pakistan, india, Srilanka, Bangladesh, oman, dubai etc have same timezone. They give cricket a lot of viewership. Do u expect icc to keep event at odd timing where none of Asian countries(their major revenue market) get to watch? Lol in which sport they do that? Every sport keeps timing based on viewership and revenue.
Please stop comparing Adil Rashid to Rashid Khan and Bumrah. Slyly mentioning an English cricketer does not make them belong. Adil is a fantastic, canny bowler, but nowhere near as good as Bumrah or Rashid.
This Phil Walker guy talking shit about Foakes's batting in India when almost the whole squad was exposed for their batting in India haha this guys clearly on the ECB payroll. There to justify ECB decisions for them to the public while shitting on anyone the ECB are not fond of.
We Indians don’t understand how to respect others point of view, especially if it doesn’t align to their own. I love to here Mark & Yas, as they give praise when cricketers deserve that and criticise whenever required. Perfect analysis Thanks
The game would have been washed out if it was a night game... So you want 80 million to be awake at the middle of the night so 5000 barbadians can watch the game?
Today it's all about them. I am sure it's hard to digest. But that's sour grapes mate. England didn't even play the ODI and Test championship finals. They are just relying on their moral victory. 🙌
If Yas rana hadn't made the statement 'indians won't win' no one would have cared for this show, but people are here to look at his face😅. If he doesn't like India, he could have simply supported SA, but making such amateur statement was not necessary
Watching this podcast made me realize Gandhi didn't steal enough salt from the British cuz there's still so much in Yas and Butcher's tears. Hilarious watching you moan and turn in your seats biting your own words. Also, Adil Rashid is a very good bowler but putting him alongside Rashid Khan is an absolute joke and comparing him with Bumrah is just pathetic. Stop calling yourself cricket journalists, ffs.
